  Horrible staff at reception. Barely spoke English, and had zero want to help me. This is by far the worst I’ve ever been treated by reception when asking for a simple wake up call for my husband who frequently misses his alarms. I’ve done this 20 + times and never has someone refused. Loss of dignity and decency can be found here. Never again.

  Breakfast was better than most continentals. Only complaint is that the pancake batter in the auto pancake machine was empty and the person working the breakfast area was unaware bc she was chatting with the desk clerk. A- The indoor pool was clean and the water was numbingly cold for June in Texas. A++ Bed linens were clean and appeared like new. The bathroom grout around the shower was looking like it could’ve used a re-do. Some crumbling and mold seen around bathroom floor/walk edges. A- The desk clerk at this hotel needs further training. I’m staying with my 4 yr old niece who closed the door after I had stepped around the corner on my floor (3) to get ice. The desk clerk wanted me to show my ID to make me another key to get back in the room where my ID was located so how could I provide my ID? That’s an unrealistic question to ask. I asked her if she wanted my DL # to prove who I was? Verify DOB, address, something else besides ID? She proceeded to tell me about “in the future we will need to see your ID to provide a room key”. She asked for my room # again after I’d already provided it. I came down to the desk from the elevator not the front door. We checked in yesterday, not today. I think answering other questions would be more appropriate and realistic than asking for ID that is already on file. She was very curt and rude as well as unrealistic. Contacted IHG chat. No response re: issue 3 days later. D There is a large homeless/vagrant presence in and around the parking lot. A person was sitting in front of my car on the curb at the front of the hotel. The area is very close to I-30. I never saw any type of security in the lobby or parking lot. F I will not stay here again. The parking lot is unsafe. The desk clerks are not friendly and treat you like you’re staying there for free.   Smoke signals would be better than this internet/Wifi.

  The internet is intermitent and super slow when it works. I need the internet to conduct business. This is not the hotel to stay at if you need basic 21st century communications. I've had faster internet in Kathmandu, Nepal... seriously! Great place if you're a caveman.

  Check in was easy. Room was spacious and clean. Bed, pillows and linens were comfortable. Gotta love a walk-in shower. Good water pressure. Breakfast was standard fare but it was hot, there was an attendant on hand and the area was nice and clean. We always opt to take the stairs and a hotel’s stairwells are a good indicator of the hotel’s cleanliness. This one passed with flying colors. When we came back into our room after breakfast there was an odd smell. Maybe from the maids already cleaning units nearby…? In any case, we did not notice it before then and it did not affect our stay. All in all, great value for the price.

  One of the best IHG experiences we’ve had!

  The staff at this property are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and spacious and conveniently located just off of I-30 All The staff on shift at the reception were very kind. Larry was especially nice. He came to check why we hadn’t checked out (we had requested a late check out but it hadn’t reflected on the system) and he was so so nice and respectful about it. The ladies that work the breakfast shift are very nice and always got what we needed, plus a smile.We’ve stayed at numerous IHG locations both in the US and internationally and I can say this was one of the best! Breakfast is your basic IHG breakfast. A variety of fruit might be nice. They only had apples when we stayed there/
