  Best spring break vacay!

  We had an AMAZING spring break family vacation at Club Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge (through Armed Forces Vacation Club). We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite which was spacious and clean with updated decor and offered everything we needed for the week (washer and dryer, full kitchen, etc.). Whenever we called housekeeping (for ice, for extra towels, etc.), all of our requests were answered quickly. Firepits were available so we made s'mores one night. To top it off, passes to the indoor waterpark was included in the price. Our children had a BLAST at the waterpark and did not get bored because there was lots to do the entire week (indoor pool, lazy river, kiddie splash area, several water slides, and more). Great value! Will definitely stay again if our schedule allows!

  We have stayed many times at the Great Smokies Lodge. Really never want to stay anywhere else while in Pidgeon Forge. Its just fantastic. Rooms always clean, Even at copacity they do a great job keeping waterpark clean which is hard because people don't know how to take care of their own garbage. Peaceful place to stay with so many onsite activities you can take down time if you want right at the hotel. Room are well stocked and clean, spacious 2 bedrooms. Parking can be a challenge late at night when at full capacity so be prepared to walk. Avoid the timeshare talk unless you really want the gift as the "tickets" are mostly a gimmick. Hotel itself and options are top notch. Always stay here when in the area.

  Prepare to for the "Club Wyndham" to make you feel guilty

  The amenities and the water park are great. I just hate the constant barrage of calls and text to waste 90 mins of your time to hear their timeshare pitch. When they asked me at checking I politely said no thank you, then they brought their supervisor over and told me that "Club owners donated points or their room, however he said it for our veterans to enjoy. Ok, thanks. I still had to pay for my room, and I don't want to hear your pitch. And if it were donated from the owners, why would that make me feel obligated to sit and listen. I was so polite that I was there for 10 mins before I finally just said I will ask my wife if she wants to, just so they would let me leave. No means no. Not keep asking. I also got a text message almost everyday asking us to go and every time I said no.

  I absolutely loved my stay at Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge at Wilderness! I had a 2 bedroom & 2 bath very spacious condo with all the amenities including my jacuzzi bathtub, which indulged in nightly. Everyone was very gracious and extremely clean and fresh.The inside Waterpark is amazing and very family friendly. There are many food choices and just a few minutes away for many other restaurants and shopping. I'll be back for sure!
