Pretty good stay
08 Jul 2026
We enjoyed our stay and had minimal complaints. Check-in and out was very easy. Beds were very comfortable! Room was clean and updated. Pool was stocked with towels and clean. Our only “complaint” was the parking lot being difficult to navigate with the large hills, be prepared for that if staying here. Also it was a bit noisy, you can hear people walking outside the door and the traffic, but we just drowned it out with rain sounds while we were sleeping. Westgate Resorts, Owner at Wild Bear Inn, responded to this review Hi Kirstenleeann,We’re delighted that you enjoyed a smooth check-in and checkout, comfortable beds, an updated and clean room, and a well-maintained pool. We sincerely apologize for the difficulty navigating the hilly parking lot and for the outside and traffic noise that disturbed your rest. We look forward to your next visit very soon! Read some of the reviews to begin with and let me tell yeah I’m glad we didn’t listen. Have a great time with front desk being great and friendly. The room was good and clean so no complaints there!! Pool was great and met some great people. Bar was good can be pricey and sneak up on you.. but over all great experience.

Nothing like the pictures

Gross water damaged tiny room. Nothing like the pictures. I would recommend stay somewhere else. This hotel wasn't even a good value compared to others in the area. Westgate Resorts, Owner at Wild Bear Inn, responded to this review Hi Kilroy K,We’re sorry to hear that your stay at Westgate, shouldn’t have felt this disappointing. We know how frustrating it is when a room doesn’t match expectations, and we understand how the issues you described would take away from the experience. We truly want every guest to feel comfortable and welcome during their time with us.Best Wishes, Social Media Support

The atmosphere was nice. The staff was great. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the room size is small, and the water pressure wasn't great .Other than that, it's a good place to stay. Westgate Resorts, Owner at Wild Bear Inn, responded to this review Hi Tonia B!We’re happy to know you enjoyed the atmosphere, cleanliness, and comfort during your stay. We’re sorry to hear the room size and water pressure weren’t quite what you expected.Best Wishes, Social Media Support
