    Wyndham

    rating31 Aug 2026

Reviewed Aug. 31, 2026We have been Wyndham timeshare owner for over 10 years and have always had a positive experience. If we ever had an issue at a resort it was resolved promptly. We checked into the Flagstaff Resort in AZ on 8/24/26 with a checkout date of 8/29/26. We traveled with extended family for a birthday and anniversary celebration. The family did not stay at the resort. Upon arrival our two bedroom condominium was not ready for the 4:00 pm check in. We waited nearly an hour. The desk agent when going over details for check out indicated a 10:00 am check out. I stated that it should be extended an hour due to the late check in. She stated that was fine but never documented the time extension. We had to state it to the person texting our check out time. When entered Unit 308 at the Flagstaff and proceeded to the lower level of the condo where the master suite is located. There was an overwhelming smell of mold permarating from rotting floorboards (we have been in the construction, contracting business for over 30 years) which were evident when walking through the suite. This was all covered with carpet. The smell was so overwhelming we slept upstairs in a small bedroom with two twin beds. We kept windows and doors open when occupying the unit. The morning after check in 8/25/26 we were awakened by construction crews before 6:00 am roofing and throwing the old roof into a dumpster next to our unit. The Wyndham Flagstaff Resort website did not indicate any construction ongoing at the resort.I contacted the corporate office of Wyndham on 8/26/26 to report the ongoing issues. I spoke with an agent who thought we should deal with the situation with onsite management at the the resort. I explained that we felt it was not our place to have to deal with the situation. Wyndham should have the resort update the website regarding construction. Wyndham corporate should investigate and speak with onsite management regarding the rotting floors and mold issue in Unit 308. The agent claimed he tried to reach management at the Flagstaff resort (keeping me on the line for 40 minutes) and could not reach them.We did not leave the resort or request another unit as we were able to sleep in the other bedroom and the rest of the unit was acceptable. With the logistics and time with other family members and planned activities it would have been a hassle. The agent then offered a resolution of refunding our points. I said that would be an acceptable outcome if possible. He put me on hold, came back on and told me that I would have to call after check out on 8/29/26. I informed him I would and today 8/31/26 I phoned Corporate Wyndham and was transferred to Giselle, a Resolutions Specialist. Giselle informed me that it was noted on 8/26/26 that we refused to contact and complain to onsite management. Giselle put me on hold and stated she was calling Flagstaff resort management.Giselle informed me that since we did not report or complain to the onsite management at the Flagstaff Resort there was no resolution to be had.The supposed "notes" the agent I spoke with did not include any mention of a points refund resolution. I have filed a complaint on the Wyndham owner website with a case number and the name of the Resolution Supervisor. I had to request the case number and her name. She made every effort to be as indistinguishable as possible. The case number and name had to be repeated numerous times.

    Stupendous Stay

    rating06 Jun 2026

Wow amazing is all I will say!!!From check in to check out.The ladies who checked us in were amazing and gave us great food ideas! Our condo was completely clean top to bottom. We cooked allot in the condo and everything was perfect for what we needed. We had a one bedroom condo with a sleeper for our 16yr old daughter.Sharing bathroom was a challenge and next time I will get a two bedroom ??Where we stayed was perfect distance to everything and we did alllottt of sightseeing since it was our first time here on the western side of US.I would recommend that the adjoining door the opens to out condo if needed needs some kind of noise barrier. We could hear kids playing right on other side, plus people talking very clearly.Plus make it easier to get or rent tennis or pickleball.Food restaurants are very close as well!Wyndham Thank you so much for making this a wonderful trip for our family!!!!We will be back

    Wonderful stay in Flagstaff

    rating05 Jun 2026

The townhouse was very spacious and has all you need for an extended stay. The staff at check in are extremely informative and will help plan your vacation needs in the area. The clubhouse pool was great and the games were fun to play with a large selection. We played a few games of pool (billiards) No wait and had some drinks in the process.

    No Sound Proofing Between Units

    rating04 Jun 2026

Itt was like living with strangers for a week. You could hear every sneeze and hiccup. There was absolutely no sound proofing between the one bedroom unit and the two bedroom unit. You could see the light under the connecting door.
