    LOVE this place

    rating05 Mar 2026

I absolutely LOVED staying here. I really stayed in March 2025 but I couldn't go back that far. Anyway, I had a lower level room and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable, wifi was sufficient, water pressure was great. The AC/air was great as well. They have a lovely restaurant on site and we ate there every night. One night they had a craft show which was fantastic. I would LOVE to go back to Molokai and if I do I would definitely stay here again. I wish I could remember the women's name that was at the front desk. She was wonderful. She was full of information and gave us insights on where to go and what to see. There was a small gift shop in the lobby area. The had gifts, snacks and drinks. I thought that the prices were reasonable. I was always buying water and Pepsi.

Lovely setting on Moloka’i with a couple quirks

    rating02 Jan 2026

Rating this hotel was hard because I loved the experience there, but there were some quirks that make me hesitate to say it was five stars for me.First of all - it’s Moloka’i so if you’re looking for a classic Hawaiian resort you won’t find it here. That’s my lens for the review - knowing a visit to Moloka’i is part adventure and definitely not a pampering trip. We rented an ocean view suite for reference and had two kids with us (4 and 6).Pros:1) stunning, beautiful, relaxing scenery - property is well taken care of and the views are amazing without feeling manufactured.2) the staff was SO KIND and helpful 3) the pool had perfect views for relaxing while the kiddos jumped around 4) the kitchen was perfectly functional for cooking basic meals and the lanai was lovely for eating them5) the unit had a cabin charm all four of us loved6) perfectly central to anything you want to do on the island - just a great location 7) also - the towels were amazingly plush and soft and sheets were really nice tooCons:1) the restaurant was still closed - I know that is in the process of being fixed though. I just looked longingly at the tiki bar area and can picture how amazing the sunsets with a cocktail will be there. 2) I think our unit would have benefited from a bit more bug control. It’s the tropics so some is unavoidable but our kitchen had a lot of ants and I think it could be managed a bit better.3) the beds and pillows really didn’t work for us, bed too soft and pillows too stiff. This is probably the thing that will make me hesitate to rebook the most. It could be our personal preference but they just weren’t great for us.4) the shower hot water didn’t last long enough for a full hot shower. Not the end of the world in Hawaii but mildly annoying. Overall we loved our stay and didn’t expect a Maui resort so it was exactly what we needed. Just a couple quirks to keep in mind.

Great place to stay on Molokai

    rating11 May 2025

This quaint hotel was great and quiet. It is close to town but you still have to drive to town from there. There is a beach but it has a lot of ocean debris on it such as seaweed and other organic material. The staff was helpful and friendly and the restaurant was very nice as well.

    Charming, no fuss stay!

    rating10 Apr 2025

Charming, old Hawaii. Quiet, small hotel property with a funky local vibe. I would definitely stay here again, I felt I often had the place to myself, on "Gilligan's Island". The restaurant was not the best in the state, but it sufficed for such a remote, quiet place. Locals go there for dates/special occasion.

    The only game in town!

    rating06 Mar 2025

Unless you stay in a AirBNB this hotel is the only hotel in Molokai. Very basic. Plastic seats at the pool. Hammocks need restringing. food is mediocre. Order a beer. Cocktails are average and wine is overpriced. When I was there the beach access was screened off but other than Kayaking you wouldn’t want to wade in the water.
