    This hotel needs to be demolished and re-built

    We are Wyndham members but were put at the end of the hall, which was filled with bags of garbage; the room was musty and smelled terrible. We did get it changed (front desk person said they were new..., but this is no excuse when there so many other rooms available). Our new room ac made loud noises all night, going on and off; the toilet water kept running. We were told to call when we arrived at the airport so the shuttle could pick us up; the phone number was not working. Luckily I did have another telephone number and front desk could not clearly point us to where to go wait. Kept telling us in front of number 19 - why not tell us by Terminal 1 and tell us that in advance when I had emailed and they were texting me. To go back to the airport the shuttle only runs 1x per hour?? why . other hotels it is every 15 or 30 minutes. We ended up taking a taxi. Frankly I thought that the hotel was not up to standards for an airport hotel with the Wyndham name on it - neither the building which is old and needs updating nor the staff who did not seem so competent.     Sleep was my priority - this place did not deliver

    Finding the hotel was the first challenge. There is no signage at the airport. I understand guests are expected to phone the hotel to request shuttle bus pickup. I walked but the route was not obvious. Room was dated but clean. Mattress was lumpy and needs to be replaced. My room was in the rear building and there was noise from what sounded like heavy machinery all night. I struggled to sleep. Dinner in the restaurant was good and not unreasonably priced. Unannounced amenity fee is irritating. The stay was disappointing overall, as my basic expectation was a good night’s sleep before a long haul flight.     Excessive parking fees and amenity fees

    I recently had a 3 day stay at the Airport Honolulu Hotel, Trademark Collection By Wyndham. I selected this hotel because of location and it appeared to be fairly priced, but I was not aware of all the extra fees. I thought my room fee was $120 a day, but I actually paid $194 a day. I was assessed a $44 parking fee and a $30 “amenity fee” per day. These fees were excessive, poorly disclosed, and entirely disproportionate to the quality of the property. The carpeting throughout the hotel looks old and the overall decor looks outdated. Also, it's ridiculous to charge $75 for a losing the tiny paper parking ticket.     Decent Option Amongst Very Few Choices at the Airport.

    This hotel was fine. Shuttle from the airport was timely and free. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and generally efficient. The rooms are outdated, as many have mentioned here, but it is a large airport hotel in which I doubt most people spend more than one or two nights. I didn't have any problem with the decor or room comfort. Yes, the hotel is pricey, like all accommodation in Honolulu, and they do ad an amenity fee for...what exactly? Breakfast was filling and tasty, and pricey. Overall it was an OK experience given the very few options that we had at the time.
