Location

This hotel enjoys one of the nicest locations in Waikiki, close to shopping, Kapiolani Park and near to all the sights of Waikiki. It lies directly across the street from world-famous Waikiki Beach, a 20-minute drive from Hanauma Bay and half an hour by car from Pearl Harbor.

Facility

837 non-smoking rooms, including 9 suites and 614 double rooms, are located on 38 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, golf and horse riding or, for a fee, tennis, are offered at the hotel. Water sports available at the hotel include windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and aquafit. Sport and leisure options include yoga or, for a fee, a gym and aerobics. A spa, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments are available in the wellness area. The hotel offers plenty of activities and entertainment options, including a kids' club, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at 2 restaurants (non-smoking, air conditioning and high chairs). A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Had a great time at the Cabana/Swell Bar with some friends a couple weeks ago. Emily and Kuʻulei truly set the standard for hospitality. They were friendly, attentive, and carried themselves with genuine aloha throughout the whole day. Their service made our experience that much more enjoyable. Mahalo to both of them for going above and beyond!

    We enjoyed our stay at the A lohilani Resort. excellent rooms, service, food, staff were very helpful and courteous. Location was perfect for sightseeing and shopping.

    Poolside cabana rental - meh

    We rented a poolside cabana for a day. Great vibes on the pool deck and the cabana was very nice. Our hostess Emily was amazing! She was attentive and fun to talk with; so bubbly :) Pool was small and far from the pool, food was just okay (the chips and dip were so odd...bitter chips and dont even know what the dip was). Probably wont go back, too expensive for what it was.

    Overall, Alohilani Resort is a great resort to stay in, if you want to be in the center of it all in Waikiki. The staff is really friendly and all your needs are met. I was able to have access to the Longboard club and everyone there provided excellent service, Josephine, Nestor, Julie, Sally (or Shelly), were great and taking care of us. Easton also provided great information at the time of check out and Sasha checked in almost every day to make sure our stay was perfect. I would recommend staying at this Resort to Ann tone visiting in Waikiki.
