Everything about the hotel was wonderful except for the room interior and furniture. Everything looked tired and in the need of an upgrade. However, It was very clean. Otherwise five stars!

We go to O'ahu a lot (we live on a neighbor island) and Hotel Renew is a great Waikiki location, just one block from the beach. Valet parking was smooth and stress free. Great rooms with a casual, relaxing vibe. My only complaint is the room didn't have a coffee machine.

Location was top-notch as we could simply walk down the street and take a plunge in the ocean. The people working there were very welcoming, kind and helpful. I have to highlight how chill the team was. It made me feel at ease to see them everyday. Amenities were very neat as we did not have to get a lot of the stuff for the beach ourselves: chairs, towels, floaties, camera. There's a lot more that they offer, but those were the ones we reached for most oftenOne thing I would state though is that the bathroom vents are very weak. While it did have a place to hang your swimsuit on, the bathroom itself never gets dry enough to dry your clothes. So, prepare yourself and try to get a room with a balcony instead. Also, just be advised that if you cannot sleep in a noisy place, this might be a bit challenging as there's a lot of foot traffic in front of the hotel. At the time of our trip, there was also a lot of construction and overall maintenance of the city. So, there were people trimming trees at 4-5AM, and then construction across the street would start couple hours later.
