We have used the hotel a number of times and would again if we were to travel to Hawai'i.Close to the airport and on a bus route to Waikiki and Pearl Harbour.Shuttle is good but now only hourly to the airport. There are no complimentary phones at the airport to contact the hotel to send the shuttle.Breakfast was good.Rooms at the back are very quiet.

The main attraction of this hotel is its proximity to the Honolulu airport. We selected it because we were just overnight in transit and didn't want to stay downtown/ at the beach. Good shuttle service to/from the airport. Otherwise average. Not expensive but par for the course value-wise for a BW. No lunch or dinner available but the restaurant at the sister hotel 2 blocks away was OK. And if preferred, there's a McDonald just around the corner. Decent Breakfast buffet ( although coffee was a little weak), but crowded (apparently the hotel is big with some tourist groups)

Near the Airport.

Plaza hotel is within walking distance to the airport. The area and rooms are adjacent to the freeway and noise from the traffic is a problem. On our 3 night stay it was difficult to sleep due to loud traffic noise well into the early hours of the morning and unfortunately it does not seem to be able to be rectified by the hotel. Our room could well do with an upgrade as the shower and carpet do need replacing. The breakfast area and selection was good but a little crowded on the mornings we were there. The beds were comfortable and the rest of the room was clean but the noise problem is something to consider before you book here. I am a Best Western member and as this was the only Best Western in Honolulu I would consider staying elsewhere if we return. Another downside was that onsite parking was available at $44 per night and the hotel has just removed half price discount for members. Parking was an unexpected $45 and I couldn't sleep long with the traffic noises. A white noise machine would have been nice.Breakfast was excellent though.
