673 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in an 18-storey main building and a 10-storey auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer is also provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The wide range of activities offered at the resort ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, golf and horse riding. A wide range of sports are available, including water sports such as jet skiing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving or, for a fee, catamaraning. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, billiards, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    This was our second stay at the Outrigger Reef this year (loved it so much that we had to return). Having been to the Waikiki area several times, we are now certain that this is where we will definitely be staying on our future visits. The hotel front desk staff are extremely helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Rick, Joe, and Frank. The rooms are clean (thank you, Sharon, for making it so comfortable for us) and if you get a room with some sort of ocean view, you will not be disappointed. We spent most days by the pool and Joenny was always there to make sure everything was going well for us. They have beverage and food service by the pool and Bernard and MQ were on top of things also. The hotel is beach front with a small area for chairs, but you only have to walk a little further to find a larger beach if that's what you are looking for. The location of this hotel is perfect for taking a morning walk and for eating out (although they have two very good restaurants on the premises if you don't feel like venturing). All in all, this is an excellent choice for a wonderful Waikiki vacation.

    If you love great service, stay at Outrigger Reef resort. My husband and I recently stayed at Outrigger Reef and had an exceptional visit. The staff is incredible. Every single staff member is joyful, helpful and kind. We truly felt valued. We experienced a small issue and Rick at the front desk went above and beyond to resolve our issue. He was sensitive and compassionate to our needs and we are thankful and grateful for Rick’s service. Our stay was better than we ever expected. We will definitely be joining Outrigger’s loyalty program and look forward to many more stays to come.
