Location

This hotel affords the perfect location with direct access to the beach in the centre of Waikiki where an array of shops and leisure and entertainment options are to be found. Links to the transport network are situated close by and it is a mere 800 m to Honolulu Zoo whilst the airport is approximately 12 km away.

Facility

The resort has 525 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 15 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Valuables can be securely stored in a safe. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (for a fee) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. A hot tub invites guests to soothe their muscles, and a poolside snack bar will take care of any hungry bellies. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy canoeing, snorkelling and diving. Indoor facilities and activities also include bowling and yoga or, for a fee, a gym. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium. Evening entertainment includes live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    This is our 3rd visit to this wonderful hotel and it won’t be our last! The location just can’t be beat …just a few steps from the hotel and you are on beautiful golden sand. Despite the renovations being undertaken during our stay it did not deter us whatsoever from enjoying the resort, to be honest they were always working during working hours so we would be out enjoying this beautiful island and not really be affected by it. The staff were outstanding with their willingness to help and always eager to please.     Anniversary dreams came true.

    Arrived early and was able to check in straight away. That was very convenient as we had an early flight from Maui.Our room was more than what we expected giving us plenty of space to relax with views over Waikiki Beach. We loved being able to see the surfers early in the morning until late in the afternoon. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and really enjoyed the easy access to the pool and beach, like 50 metres from our room, and out the front door to an abundance of restaurants and shopping.Managed to do an amazing Pearl Harbor tour and the Waikiki Trolly trip down the coast road was awesome.Thanks Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort for making our anniversary dreams come true.     This was our first time in Hawai‘i. Though it was loud at times, you’re right on Waikīkī beach! The staff was lovely. We were able to check in early. That was nice since we got off our cruise ship early. We could unwind a bit before exploring!     The staff at Outrigger are awesome! They are super helpful, responsive, and friendly. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so it felt a bit dated on our floor and within the room, but wasn’t a huge issue. We didn’t have access to the gym due to construction, so that’s a bummer for us. It’s one of the things I always look forward to having on a trip. Overall, the hotel itself was incredibly convenient and centrally located to all highlights within Waikiki. We would definitely recommend this hotel and return again!
