This small Oahu hotel is located in the centre of Waikiki, just 2 blocks from the world-famous Waikiki Beach. Numerous shopping, dining and outdoor adventure opportunities can be found within a few blocks of the hotel. Guests will discover plenty of free entertainment in Waikiki, including hula dancing, Hawaiian music performances, lei making and ukulele lessons.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 22-storey building with a lift and 143 rooms. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the 24-hour reception desk.     Breakfast was disappointing. Boiled eggs and bacon twice that week? Change it up. Add waffles or pancakes.     For Brazilians, it's the same as Ibis hotels. Properties in Honolulu are old; this hotel is relatively new, just over 10 years old, but it's lacking maintenance, the signs of age are apparent. The room was good but small, great service from all the staff, including the parking attendant, the breakfast was average, nothing special, almost the same thing every day, but it serves its purpose. The hotel offers beach chairs, umbrellas, beach bags, towels, and even sunscreen free of charge, which is very helpful. The value for money isn't the best; you can find better accommodations in the same area for the same price. The location is very good, with valet parking. The negative point is the cleanliness; we stayed for a week, the dirt on the hallway carpet remained the same, and it was quite dirty. The breakfast tables weren't cleaned between guests, and the floor also gave a bad impression. A big thank you to Kudu, who helped us a lot during our stay.     Good location and the staff are friendly and nice. I like that they have all the beach neccessities available to borrow for the hotel guests (beach chair, towels, boogie board, sand toys for kids and even sunscreen). They also have 24 hours coffee and sometimes tea in the lobby if you want to just come down from your room and relax. Our only issues are that part of the carpet in our room near the window got wet due to the storm, not a really big deal usually but the moldy smell is a bit strong since it's in my side of the bed making it a bit bothersome at night. The small breakfast area also get filled up fast in the morning making it difficult for some people to find a space to eat. But overall we had a great time in this hotel and will recommend it if you are not looking to stay at a fancy hotel. It's hard not to give this hotel less than five star as the staff and management are all genuinely nice people. They make sure to take care of their guest and we really appreciate it.     Vive is a bargain!

    Vive was budget friendly and safe for a single individual. It was very clean with a smart tv should the weather not be cooperating for a few hours. The location is ideal for walking on the many beaches or shopping. It is on a bus stop too. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The free morning breakfast buffet offered fruit, pastries, and protein choices. Free beach gear was easily available.
