    Would come back any time!! A great deal!

    We were so pleased with our stay here and would come back in a minute!!!Yes it’s old; it has popcorn ceilings and there is a smell of “moist” due to the humidity. The smell though didn’t bother us as we have stayed at high end places in Cancun that had the same issue. It’s the result of constant A/C and humidity. It was a non issue for us. Speaking of the A/C, there is A/C!!! How wonderful!!!! And it is in the living area as well as the bedrooms! We were constantly cool!!! Especially at night as we slept in our oh so comfy bed!! Additionally, our room was huge!! It was at least twice as large as the room we had the following week in Maui (no a/c!), and our room in Kona was less expensive. The adult pool was lovely!! It was so refreshing and six feet deep. Moreover, you can rent beach equipment on site, and no one bothered us to do a time share presentation. All in all, we really liked it here and highly recommend it. It is not as plush as what you might find elsewhere but furnishings and cabinets have been updated and comfy, and everything is clean. Best of all: it’s a great deal!!

    We were guests of owners. We felt spoiled and loved it. Room was amazing. A tiny bit dated but it's all good. Pools, nice, we liked the quiet pool except they close it way too early. . Food wasn't real good but that's ok. Bar was great. Guest services were great. Housekeeping excellent. Grounds meticulous. Rental office for snorkeling was good and the gifts were reasonable. Facilities awesome. Yeah I'll be back

    This resort has spacious rooms that are well maintained. The landscaping is beautiful and well kept. Our balcony overlooked the golf course. The resort is located a few miles south of downtown Kona, which is perfect because it's quiet and convenient to all roads. The food and drinks at the pool area restaurant were really good. This is our third time staying here and I would stay every time I can!

    Shell Vacations Resort @ Kona Coast Resort II is a superb venue. It is beautiful, well organized and maintained. The staff/team-members are gracious, polite and extremely helpful, they quickly respond to requests and provide answers to questions. This resort is in a great spot on the Kona Coast, and it has some spectacular views.
