Location

This lodge warmly welcomes guests in Volcano Village.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a library, a smoke alarm and a smoking area. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Guests of the hotel are welcome to relax in the garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Guests can also use the bicycle storage facilities.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with central heating. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. Additional features include a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, satellite television and WiFi are provided as well.     Cute Villa Right Outside the Gates!

    Really cute little place a stone's throw from the entrance, and just outside of Volcano Village (some great places to eat, a few cool shops). Easy, old-school villa style entry, Quiet. Loved the room (though the carpet needs a little work...). Loved the many small touches that made the room. Easy check-out. Would definitely use again. Only negative observation is that I would try to mask the structures behind the villa a tad more.Loved the resident pheasants!!!

    If a thrift store had lodging… Very dated. Lots of rules. No AC and being a menopausal woman, that didn’t sit right with my soul. Parking? Ha! And not well lit. Flat pillows. Doors not numbered on the outside. To conserve water, the drain stopper has been removed, so if you’re a soak in the bath person, well you’re SOL. Literally, all decor looked like it came from Goodwill in the 80’s. Carpentry work -I use that term loosely- looks like a small child was ‘helping daddy’. Lastly, felt like we were being watched inside the entire time. This place gave me the ICK

    Great location for visiting Volcanoes National Park

    The room was clean and comfortable, (after opening the windows). Location is great for visiting Volcanoes National Park. There's no staff on-site but we were left with very clear instructions to check-in and out and we had access to the reception area if we needed extra shampoo, soap, etc. The room gets very hot if you don't open the windows. The dehumidifier was pumping out hot air so we had to turn that off to let the room cool down. There were always a few ants crawling around the sink, but that wasnt a huge deal and not unusual, I suppose, in a rural tropical setting. There also aren't many restaurant options in the vicinity.

    Delightful lodging just minutes from Volcanoes National Park.Located in the edge of the rain forest. Beautiful location, clean and comfortable room!No staff on duty, so everything is "self serve".At night the area just opens up with all these different animal noises that is like nothing I have ever encountered on the mainland!

    Great Gem Close to HVNP

    From booking, to checkin and checkout, this was so easy.Location is close to the park and is in a very quiet street. Room: is spacious and well kept and has everything you need. It’s such a cute place and I love staying in places like this that are self checkin. I was lucky to find this place on short notice when I heard Kilauea was erupting. I wanted to spend the night and was hoping to see the lava flow at night. As luck would have it, not only did I get to see a great show, this lodge had a room available for the one night I needed. Would highly recommend this place and I would stay again!
