    We stayed here in February and had a fabulous week. Resort is clean & maintained. Staff was friendly & wonderful at helping with anything we needed & promptly delivered whenever we needed more supplies. The pool & pool side bar is a great place to relax for the day with good food & drinks and music nightly. Chelsea is the best at keeping the place happy. We hired a private chef for a Valentine’s celebration (wonderful experience) she was also impressed with the resort .Hoping we can take another vacation there soon

    We spent 5-nights at this resort while on the Big Island. Short drive from Kona. The staff is very friendly and helpful with great ideas of places to go, restaurants and other island activities. Two pools, very clean and everything in working order. We will stay here again if/when we return.

    A Tropical Paradise Home

    This was a beautiful and perfect location for our stay on the Big Island. We love to walk and it was just over a mile to walk into either Kona, or just a bit further to walk into Kailua. It was also a convenient starting point for driving in any direction. The resort is beautifully tropical, the suites are clean and well stocked for cooking, but are due to an upgrade and update for kitchen and furnishings soon. There are 2 pools and a hot tub, and the views from everywhere are stunning.

    My husband, 4 year old daughter, and I had a great stay in a 1 bedroom suite at the Royal Sea Cliff. Highlights were:- cleanliness of the room and the entire property- ocean view from our large balcony (even though the booking said we would not have one and our room was located at the part of the resort farthest from the ocean—such a nice surprise)- washer/dryer combo in unit with detergent provided (although be warned that it takes about 3-4 hours to do one small load)- easy check-in, check out, parking, etc.- nice location near downtown Kona but far enough away to feel very peacefulThe only downside we experienced was the cold temperature of the pool water in December, making it too uncomfortable to use the pool. A heated pool would have made this stay absolutely perfect!
