Hotel is in a little park area with ponds and playgrounds. Walking distance to Hilton Head beach ???, shops and restaurants at Coligny Plaza. Parking ??? $ 10 per day including covered spaces. Very friendly staff (reception, service etc.). Rooms are not great but typical Holiday Inn Express standard. Some with small balconies facing the pool side. Fridges in rooms available. We‘d come back when on the island. Good hotel in nice location (just 5-10min walk from the beach). Hotel was renovated few years ago and rooms are in general good condition. Just the breakfast room is far too small for this size of hotel. A Memorable Stay w/ Wonderful Experience Team!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Express. Orville and Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. Small requests like extra towels were never a problem. We were always greeted with friendliness and professionalism. That made us feel comfortable the minute we set foot on the property. Even when parking was full, Stephanie offered the main drive-thru greenspace as a makeshift parking space until the morning. When you're tired from a long family road trip, customer service accommodations upon arrival really matter. Our rooms were very clean and reasonably sized. I loved the location being at the intersection of Pope Ave and S Forest Beach Drive. My husband and I enjoyed taking the morning and afternoon bike rides in both directions. The pool area was a fairly sized and filled with families. We also appreciated how close the hotel was to Coligny Plaza and Lowcountry Celebration Park. Being adjacent to the latter made it the true definition of family-friendly. Overall, the atmosphere was relaxing, clean, and beachy. I'm glad the kickoff to our family vacation was spent here. Decent Hotel with Noise and Service Issues

This stay was average overall, with some positives and some notable frustrations. Check-in staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was decent, though on the smaller side. The location is a big plus—very close to the beach, which made getting around easy and convenient.Unfortunately, the experience was impacted by extremely loud neighbors with multiple children who were very disruptive in the evening, both in the hallway and in their room. Noise was a significant issue during the stay.The included breakfast was decent and met expectations for a Holiday Inn Express. EV charging was available on-site, which was appreciated, but execution was lacking. One charger was unusable because another guest left an adapter locked in place, and despite notifying staff, this was not resolved before our departure. Of the remaining chargers, the one I used (only other one available) did not provide sufficient amperage, so my vehicle did not actually charge overnight despite being plugged in.Additionally, although I was granted a late checkout until noon, housekeeping knocked on our door three separate times to rush us out. Each time, I explained that we had approval for late checkout, yet the interruptions continued, which was frustrating and unnecessary.Overall, this hotel has a great location and friendly front-desk staff, but noise issues, EV charger problems, and poor coordination around late checkout made this a 3-star experience for me.
