    I got this hotel through Priceline express deal. Usually it works pretty well for me but not this time. I picked 3 stars, thinking of something like Holiday Inn - basic and clean. This hotel should have been 2 stars at most. Run down. Ugly curtains and carpets. Arcade game machines in the lobby as you walk in to check in. What? Why?? Wish I were somewhere else tonight.     this Hotel used to be a Hilton,at some point I guess it’s changed ownership to some Chinese investors and management.This hotel is still living on the remaining glory of previous Hilton’s,and that is running out and not gonna last long.This new management basically does NOTHING.Literally NOTHING,except relying on the old systems but without anything add on or improvement.Bascially like not add any fuel into a running machine.The room is running down.The TV set make you wonder have you time traveled back to the 80’s.No complimentary waters.Drainage is not draining.The little motor of hair dryer fly’s out.The TV in the gym is not working.No bother to fix it.The frond desk is rude.Never mind get some training.Why we are still suckers and still stay here!?Cuz we love the walkable plaza next door for the food,solely!!And location wise,they have no competition!Dont know how much longer we will still be suckers though.     Meh, Stay somewhere else...

    I specifically booked the room I did for the jacuzzi tub. In the pictures shown online, the tubs are large, round, fancy looking tubs. When I got to the room, it was a standard size jetted tub, which only maybe 2 jets actually worked. I made the front desk attendant aware of the issue and that we were excited about the booking only to be disappointed in the end. The attendant didnt really seem to care nor offer any kind of apology or voucher or anything. There was also a large wet/mildew spot on the ceiling in the room. It was also EXTREMELY apparent that the hotel cuts cost at every corner. They only offer housekeeping if you request it, they do not include the soap/shampoo samples but instead, they have the soaps and such secured to the shower walls and counter top which I find unsafe because we have no idea what is in those bottles or what may have been added before or after we arrived. The ice maker for the floor didn't work and had a sign to go to the front desk for ice (we were on the 6th floor). Overall, the stay wasn't great and for the price I paid for the booking, not worth it at all. I'll be taking my business elsewhere for future travels.     We really enjoyed our short stay (3 nights) in this hotel, this was our third time staying here. The room is always clean and quiet. The location is very accusable and the price is reasonable. The place is right at the heart of the asian distict here in Houston. The staff are very helpful and hospitable.
