    Okay, served its purpose. You get what you pay for!

    We were in town for a graduation. Pros- location, breakfast was ok, staff was very friendly and attentive Cons- strange smell in halls like sewer system issue, room smelled damp , bathroom in the room is very small . Hotel needs updating.

    Warning: it's a trap! Its a motel!

    This hotel was built decades ago, has structural defects many noted, such as cracks in walls, stairs, stucco, then dirty floors all over, dirty carpets. Its a motel masquerated as Hotel. Windows do not close properly. Low income people were staying there. Garbidge on floors in hallways, on stairs, spots over carpets everywhere. They charge WAYYYY TOO MUCH , it's a motel, not a hotel as they want you to believe!

    This hotel is located close to shopping, restaurants, the Galveston cruise port and the NASA space center.The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area has several chairs and we enjoyed visiting with our family.All of the staff were friendly and helpful.We enjoyed our stay and will be back

    Most motels/hotels are notorious for the beds being soft, or at least the pillows being nice. I’ve stayed in a lot of motels, I could be a comfort connoisseur. Here? Absolutely not. Upon arrival, the fridge in my room didn’t work and the room smelled rancid because of it, and we changed rooms. In the next room, the white sheets and top blanket has several yellow stains, and when I pulled the blanket back, there was long curly hair. Fortunately the fridge worked this time. The beds were incredibly stiff, and the pillows are small and square. I got no sleep the first night and such horrible quality sleep the second night. Additionally, the walls are really thin, so you can hear your neighbors “procreating” several doors down. Other than that, the amenities were decent. The snack bar by the front desk is appreciated. The TV options were also good. Probably won’t stay here again, though. I have enough problems without the lack of sleep and back pain that accompanies the the piece of plywood that you sleep on.

    Great place to stay close to the cruise port

    The hotel is conveniently located and has several restaurants within walking distance. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. We have stayed here for years the night before our cruise out of the Galveston port. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. We have recommended this location to our family and friends.
