    Chemical cleaner smell

    The hotel is fine. The sheets are like sandpaper. The smells are so intense and chemical smelling, I had a massive headache. I wish they would use more natural cleaners. The gym was fine. Sure it’s near the airport but I didn’t expect it to be so loud at night.     Ambience is important to me.

    Context: approx 9:00pm, dark outside, evening. Hotel lobby bar is like sitting in a cafeteria- like ambiance ; which is unfortunate, because the lobby bar has thoughtfully provided varied seating options (bar-top, high-top, booths and tables), yet the lights are so bright, I wished I had sunglasses, or went elsewhere.Lighting and sound are very important contributors to ambiance, and here the lighting is obnoxious.The bartender (Petro) is shy, or robotic or uninspired (predictably the later), therefore he provided zero enthusiasm to the customer experience; the service was efficient.Summary: Such a missed opportunity to be great!     GOOD OPTION NEAR IAH AIRPORT

    It's a basic hotel, but it has everything you need for a good rest before or after a long flight. Very close to IAH airport and with a free shuttle service, it's very convenient if you have to catch a very early or very late flight.     Breakfast ripoff but room was comfortable

    PROS: The location is near the airport, so you will hear planes, but it isn't excessive. The water pressure can be low at times, but we still had water. The room was large and comfortable enough.CONS: I paid extra to reserve a room for two adults including breakfast, which I confirmed whey we checked in. The next morning, we were told that only one of us could eat free. I showed the reception desk my reservation, but they wouldn't change their mind. Rip off!     Good Airport Stay

    A solid (newer) Courtyard Hotel with the amenities you see in every Courtyard (Internet TV, Fridge, Cafe, etc) with a good location to IAH. Only frustrating item - the shower water pressure was about as powerful as a watering can. Get some real shower heads!!
