      I was passing through Houston and stayed at this brand new Econo Lodge for a great rate with my Choice Hotels App. The room was perfect and smelled brand new. I slept so well that I got up an hour later than I expected. It was very quiet, I heard not a sound. The TV uses Direct TV and was somewhat complicated to use. The next morning I didn’t get breakfast at the hotel until 9am. The serving area was very clean. I had cereal for breakfast, my only disappointment was that the milk was warm. This was a great stay and for the rate I highly recommend it.

      This hotel has been open just 2 months. It is easy to get to - right off the Tomball Parkway access road. Service was polite and prompt during check in. My request for a first floor room was accommodated. As far as I know, there are no elevators, so 2nd floor rooms are accessible by stairs only. The room was clean and still new-looking. Wood laminate on the floor in bed area and tile in bathroom. Beds are very comfortable, but an extra blanket would have been appreciated. Microwave and refrigerator were provided although we did not use them. Soap, but no shower gel provided. The coffee pot was a single cup model. The coffee was not very good. Breakfast is provided, but my diet limits my choices. There was nothing offered at breakfast that I could eat. I would have appreciated eggs, bacon, and/or sausage. Although it is a comfortable hotel, a couple of small changes could improve the stays here greatly.
