    Awful

    rating03 Jun 2026

I would never stay here again. The place is a dump. Tim at the front desk has zero customer service skills. He ignored several of us while he sorted the mail and went in and out behind the counter. Then I realized why... He finally said he was waiting for a shift change and someone else would help us. I was told when I booked on the phone that if I wasn't staying the full 2 weeks I would get a refund for the second week. Tim immediately told me that was not true and I could not get a refund so I'm taking it up with extended stay America and my credit card company. The place is not clean, it's been really bad shape and needs to be completely redone. There was no hair dryer or anything special. One guy waiting with me in line said there was no microwave in his room and the stovetop was not working! The second guy waiting with me said they had taken him to two different rooms that were not ready yet, and if they took him to a third he was going to go to a hotel. I booked for two weeks but only stayed three nights and then moved to a hotel because I couldn't stand to stay there. the worst one ever

    rating11 Apr 2026

This was one of the worst and most unacceptable experiences I have ever had with a hotel.Late check-in after 11 PM was clearly accepted when I made the reservation, but this was later changed without any proper notice. When I arrived at night, the hotel was completely closed—no staff, no security, nothing. I even returned again at 12:00, and still no one was there. Being left outside like this is absolutely outrageous.Calling the hotel is pointless. You are redirected to agents in other cities who sound half-asleep and are completely unable to help. The front desk only operates between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM, which is beyond ridiculous for a hotel. Despite the fact that I never checked in, they still marked me as checked in in their system. The next morning, when I demanded a refund, the front desk employee raised their voice and refused to help, telling me to deal with Booking.com instead. This place is completely unprofessional and unreliable. It feels like they are deliberately misleading customers just to take their money. Avoid this place at all costs—you will regret it.After 11:00 pm the hotel is selling the refundable optioms couple of time.If only I could give the lowest point ,But thee is no option. ESA GM, General Manager at Extended Stay America Houston - The Woodlands, responded to this review Dear Guest, We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced regarding your late check-in and the lack of assistance upon arrival. This is not the level of service or reliability we strive to provide. We regret any miscommunication about front desk hours and reservation details, as well as the way your concerns were handled. Please be assured that your comments have been shared with our management team for review and improvement. Your experience is very important to us, and we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to welcome you back.Sincerely,Hotel Management

    Terrible place to stay

    rating09 Aug 2025

This place is to be avoided. Here goes; we had a very small table to eat at but no chairs to sit on, the dresser drawers would not stay shut-they kept opening by themselves, the tv came on for a short time we had a picture and sound then only sound, we had a long and a short curtain at the windows, we could hear our noisy neighbors fighting most of the night and you could not call the elevator to bottom floor as the button did not work. All in all a terrible experience. ESA GM, General Manager at Extended Stay America Houston - The Woodlands, responded to this review Dear Y8464VGphyllisb, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely regret that your stay has not met your expectations and apologize for the discomfort and disruptions you have encountered. Your concerns regarding the room condition and overall environment are taken seriously, and we are actively working to improve both facility upkeep and guest support. We understand how important a peaceful and functional space is, and it is disappointing to know we fell short. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance the guest experience, and we hope to have the chance to provide you with a more positive visit in the future.Sincerely,Hotel Management

This is the absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed. The front desk staff was very rude and the room was filthy. The shower was dirty, holes in walls, and roach infested. Terrible Experience

    rating03 Feb 2025

This was a corporate stay for 60+ days. When my employee checked in, our company credit card was charged $3,280 (the entire stay) even though I was supposed to get charged on a weekly basis. The room had a mildew smell. He immediately returned to the front desk with his luggage and informed them that he will not be staying in their hotel and asked for the charges to be canceled. The hotel went ahead with the entire charge. I called a few days later letting them know that the charges have not been removed. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude and told me that my employee had left the hotel without reporting the issue. He said he would still charge for one day even though my employee did not stay in that room for more than a few minutes! I will dispute this charge with my credit card company. Do not stay at this establishment. ESA GM, General Manager at Extended Stay America Houston - The Woodlands, responded to this review Dear H580KYmiken, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about the challenges surrounding your employee’s stay and understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially during a long-term corporate booking. While our policies are designed to ensure consistency in billing, it’s clear that the communication around your reservation did not meet expectations. We're also sorry to hear about the concern you had with the room. We appreciate you sharing these details with us, and we are very grateful for your patience. We hope you will stay with us again so we can show you the hospitality you deserve.Sincerely, Hotel Management
