    Great Customer Service - A Clean Place to Lay our Heads

    We ended up stuck in Houston due to several delays and an eventual cancellation of our flight. By the time we got to the gate agents, told us they ran out of hotel space, but gave us a list of nearby hotels to reach out to. I called The Hampton Inn Houston/Humble-Airport and the woman answering the phone, was both kind and courteous. She was empathetic and told me she could get us a room, if we hurried over. I booked online to ensure we got a room. It was 4am by the time we arrived at the hotel and we were greeted by Ms. Quinn Ashley. She was such a wonderful person, very animated and personable. She turned our bad situation into a good one and for that we were grateful. Another family was in the lobby waiting, as their flight was canceled too and I witnessed her interaction with them to be consistent with ours. She was wearing many hats that evening, cleaning the lobby, managing the front desk, running the night audit, but she never made us feel like an imposition. We were a little worried about the room, because the pictures on the site looked very dated, despite the fact I read that the hotel had been renovated. Thankfully, the picture did not depict what the room actually looked like. It's an older property, but it was clean and that's what was most important. We were just happy to have a place to lay our heads. It was close and convenient to the airport, making it easy to return our rental car and catch our next flight. The lobby was quiet, as was our room. We got a great price online. They offered all the bathroom amenities. The hotel suited our needs under the circumstances and it was nice not to have to drive all the way back downtown. Thanks for saving the day!

    As a HHonors Diamond Member, I travel several times a month and always chose Hilton properties.My stay at this site was a standout of stays. Saira at the front desk was kind and helpful. The room was beautifully clean and supplied with all of my needs. The breakfast area was well-stocked and constantly being maintained by Ingrid. Every counter space and table was impeccably clean as well.There was no time that I saw housekeeping not working dutifully and keeping their space tidy. I would tell there was a certain pride that staff sometimes lacks. Not these men and women! This hotel and its rooms will undeniably be just as clean and welcome if I come back again and, if I need to stay in the Humble/Kingwood area another time, I definitely will chose this property.

    It was a quick one-night stay, very clean, with plenty of options for breakfast and friendly staff. I would stay here again. Room was comfortable. For the price at Houston airport you cannot go wrong. Clean, friendly, nice atmosphere, good amenities.

    Disgusting and Unacceptable: Hampton Inn Humble, TX

    I am appalled by the deplorable state of the Hampton Inn Humble, TX. This establishment is a disgrace to the Hampton Inn brand. From the moment I stepped into the room, I was met with a level of filth that is simply unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one with the Hampton Inn name.The room was a breeding ground for germs. Dirty linens, hair scattered everywhere, and stains on the furniture were just the beginning. The bathroom was equally horrifying, with grime and mildew evident in every corner. It was clear that this room had not been cleaned in days, if not weeks.The management's complete disregard for basic hygiene standards is evident. How can a hotel claim to prioritize guest comfort and cleanliness when their rooms are in such a disgusting condition? I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at this Hampton Inn to reconsider and choose a hotel that actually cares about its guests. This place is a health hazard and an insult to the paying customer.

    This was the worst Hampton we have ever stayed in. The front desk woman was horrible, she wasn’t even at the front desk when we arrived and had to wait about 20 minutes for her to amble up. I think she might have been drunk, she didn’t say a single word to me until I asked her a question about breakfast and her answer was, ‘only if the staff felt like it’. The room was fine and clean but we heard lots of noise.I would never stay here again.
