    Maybe choose a different location

This hotel has poor air circulation in rooms and hallways. Only stay here if you need an inexpensive lodging option. Otherwise, I would not recommend.

    Stay away if you can

    rating01 Jan 2026

This property is in terrible condition and immediate need for a full renovation. When we visited both elevators were out of service so we could not go to our assigned room on the 3rd floor. The front desk person told us that the management was supposed to call all guests to inform them of this but we were never notified. We were then assigned first floor rooms that had a horrible odor and bathrooms were worse than one star hotel with worn out bathtub, dirty moldy grout and sink with no counter space.

    Good stay.

    rating19 Oct 2025

Mostly a great stay. Just a couple of concerns. I stayed this past week. Digital check in was mostly smooth, but again, got a message to stop at the front desk. I did, and checked in and was given a hard key and then got a digital key minutes later. No working elevator. They did email me the day prior and advised me. They stated they would try to put me on floor 1 or 2. I chose floor 3 facing away from the highway. I was ok carrying my luggage upstairs and unpacked. The next day, David at the front desk offered the same room on floor 1. I declined as i had already settled in. David was super nice. Tammy at the front desk was also super nice. I only ate breakfast on 2 days. Both were fine. The best part...really good yogurt (like Chobani or Oikos and fresh blueberries and strawberries. First time I've seen fresh fruit (other than apples and oranges) at a Hampton Inn & Suites. I had a waffle with fresh fruit and it was great. The hotel is older. You can tell by little things...room layout, doors and doorways to rooms. Floors are newer. The tile flooring in the entrance to the bathroom was nice. I got a studio suite which really is the exact same size room with a sofa instead of a chair. Next time, I'll just get a king room. I did like the wood closet/desk/paneling around the window. Just looks nice. But the closet was useless. No luggage rack. I put my luggage on top of the air con unit in the window. And the space between the bed and the desk was super tight. There is ambient lighting above the wood surround which is great. It was nice to leave on overnight so I could see to the bathroom without turning on other lights. Walls and ceilings are thin and you can hear everything from people walking to adult movies playing on tvs around you. Wifi worked well. I worked from the room everyday with no issues. The tv is small. Compared to other Hampton Inn & Suites, the screen just seems small. It did have a usb and hdmi port so you can hook up your laptop or an external hard drive to watch movies. The tvs have Showtime (no HBO) and basic cable channels. I watched a lot of Discovery channel. The bed was fine, but made a creaking sound when I got in and out. Maybe the bed frame needs replacing (room 335). Phone in my room didn't work. I could not call the front desk. Had to use chat messaging feature on the Hilton app. Bathroom shower was great. Clean. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash provided. Nice shower head. Hot water and ok water pressure. No drainage problems. I did not use the pool, but thought about it. Small, but saltwater and well kept and clean. Parking was concerning. There were guys hanging around the parking lot that maybe had no business there. The hotel does have security sitting at the entrance to the hotel watching. I parked right under my window and my car was fine. All in all, except for a few little issues, this is a good property, close to the Beltway. David made it even better.

    rating13 Sept 2025

Large room, clean bathroom. The hallway and doors feel a bit dated, but the room is tidy. There's a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby. The check-in desk was super friendly. David definitely deserves a mention! We were recommended to eat at the adjacent Japanese BBQ restaurant, which turned out nicely. Breakfast was good, well provided. Coffee and tea in the lobby is a nice touch. Recommended ! 👍 Sandra Roller, at Hampton Inn Houston I-10W Energy Corridor, responded to this review Thank you for being our guest and for recognizing David's wonderful customer service. We strive to make it a wonderful experience for our guests even though we are an older property. Thank you for enjoying the coffee and tea bar.We look forward to your future arrival.

Well managed small hotel with added value

    rating25 Nov 2024

Well managed hotel, with friendly, welcoming staff always greeting guests. The hotel includes a variety of hot breakfast options every day. The lobby is spacious and pleasant. There is a complimentary tea and coffee table 24/7 by the reception. Wifi is reliable throughout the hotel even outside at the swimming pool. There is a laundry room for extended stays, like ours. The room includes a mini fridge and a microwave. Great value for money. Good location as well. Nearby, there are few good restaurants, all within walking distance: an Italian one with numerous delicious chicken and steak options; a cooked at the table Japanese fair and/or an interesting pub. Sandra Roller, at Hampton Inn Houston I-10W Energy Corridor, responded to this review Thank you for taking timeout to provide feedback from your stay. We appreciate having you as our guest. We strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We hope to see you again on your future arrival.
