    When we arrived we specifically asked for a room in the back of the hotel to avoid a lot of loud noise from a freeway and a very busy cross street. “No problem,” said the desk clerk. He put us in the noisiest corner where the two roads met. Couldn’t be worse. Then he said he had no other room on the back side with two beds — we are three. Hardly slept a wink. The “renovations” were horrendous — from paint indiscriminately applied and splattered just as poorly on doors and floors. The “hot” breakfast food was cold and fruit was extremely under or over ripe. The elevator carpeting had not been properly vacuumed in ages…thick dust two inches out from the wall. If you flushed the toilet the water faucet only dripped. There was black mold on the tub. They said coffee was available throughout the day and it was ice cold. Not a good experience!     Cancelled Room Block

    Back in October, I booked 14 rooms for an upcoming softball trip. On Monday, 2/23/26, I called to confirm we are good to go. I showed up on 2/25/26 to check in, and my room block was cancelled. No real explanation was given. Thankfully, Best Western Plus was able to accommodate us. I will not return.     Guest rooms need lots of work

    The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.Upon arriving we had to request a new room due to the smell of marijuana in the room. When moving to new room there were multiple things that needed attention. The dresser drawers would not close and were directly in the walkway to the beds. The light fixtures in the bathroom were so dusty, that dust was hanging from the very old fixtures. Both rooms we had, you could tell the doors had either been broken into or jimmied open, as the door was completely torn up near the lock. I would not recommend this hotel unfortunately. I stay in quite a number of IHG properties, and this was the worst I've ever stayed in.     One of the scariest hotels I have ever stayed at. Please be aware there are tons of suspicious people staying at this hotel, they seem friendly and minding their own, but it seemed like a ran down motel but in a decent Holiday Inn. Our room smelled like cigarettes and all sorts of smells I can't even define. It's one of those hotels you know some weird stuff is taking place, Staff was very nice, but unless you are comfortable to stay in a hotel with drug users etc, this hotel did not feel safe AT ALL.     Needs Massive Improvement

    Needless to say, the stay was memorable only because it was less than what it should have been. I have attached pictures of our room, I would of checked out but was not wanting my rate returned as points so we tried to make the best of a bad situation. This hotel stay has led my husband and myself to consider utilizing other hotel brands in the future. One other gripe besides the condition of the room is that there was no signage in the hotel lobby or in the elevator concerning the breakfast that is normally part of the hotel rate. I needed to extend the hotel stay by one night and that is when I saw the information about the breakfast. It is only published on the website so we were 7 days into the stay before I saw the information. I went next door to the Circle K to purchase breakfast items and coffee since this was also not offered. We had to request our room be cleaned after day two and was told that if they had someone available they would try and do it but they were only taking care of checkout rooms. Our room was cleaned maybe three times during our stay and it was odd that we started out with four towels and then it went down to three and then eventually down to one. Good thing my husband didn't shower before we left to come home. Waited about 5 minutes at check in along with another guest who was wanting something from the snack area because the desk clerk was unavailable. One morning we saw the desk clerk leave to go next door to get a donut, there was no coverage at the desk. I worked for a franchise Holiday Inn for 15 years and I know somewhat of the rules that need to be followed, this hotel failed miserably.
