    I stayed here for a couple nights and had a good overall experience. The staff at check-in were friendly, and since my wife has Hilton Diamond status, we were given a suite on the highest floor away from the elevators as requested. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchenette that included a fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, and glasses, plus a couch with ottoman and a comfortable king bed.One recommendation: try to get a room facing away from Highway 6 because those rooms are much quieter. Our room was on the backside of the hotel and had very little road noise.There were a few downsides during our stay. One of the two elevators was completely out of service the entire time, but there was never a sign posted on it, so guests kept pressing the button and waiting unnecessarily. It would be very helpful if management placed a maintenance sign on the elevator letting guests know it was temporarily closed. Also, the TV initially wasn’t working and kept showing an error message, though maintenance later reset it after we notified the front desk. The blackout shades also didn’t fully seal around the window, so a lot of sunlight came into the room during the day.Breakfast was solid, with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee. The breakfast staff member was especially friendly and welcoming.Overall, if you’re looking for a comfortable extended-stay style hotel in the Sugar Land/Stafford area with a kitchenette and spacious rooms, I’d recommend this Home2 Suites.

    DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!- Breakfast was OK- Our toilet clogged and they didn’t have Maintenance present. They claimed they could arrive in 20 minutes, so instead of waiting, my husband ended up fixing it.Last night, around 12AM, I got the OK from the Night Shift Clerk that we’d be able to check out at 1PM. If I wanted to then request for a later check out, I would have to call and speak to the Day Shift Clerk to ask.I called around 10:15am and asked how late we were able to check out. The lady immediately and in a ghetto tone, said “11am - the GM said ain’t nobody can check out past 11am. They got it written down on a note right chea, POINT. BLANK. PERDIODT!” First of all- “Frankie” didn’t even acknowledge my confirmation # to read notes, that I’m a Silver Hilton Rewards Member, and if I didn’t call, we would’ve never known that check out was at 11am. I expressed frustration on how that was unfair to be given only a short amount of time to pack. She had zero remorse. She then kept calling and showed up to our door when we had checked out. We will not be giving this location our business again and will be sure to provide this feedback on every platform!

    I dont post reviews often, but this hotel deserved one. The location was quiet. Never had an issue with road noise or anything like that. The room was clean and it was the first time I had housekeeping come in daily since covid which was nice. The staff was very friendly. One person that stood out to me was the lady serving breakfast. She went around topping off your coffee which I have never had happen at a hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. I do hate you only get half the Hilton points since it is a Home2 Suites, but I know that is out of the control of the hotel.

    I had a very good stay at the Home2Suites as I always do. The manager and staff and friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, and always willing to go that extra to provide the best service that they can. The rooms are always clean and bright with appliances in good condition and working well. I have been able to get to breakfast in the mornings and there is usually enough time for me to get something to eat unless I oversleep, which I have done because I do not like wake up calls - this is my personal preference. I have insomnia and it is hard for me to sleep away from home so I do not like to wake up until I wake up and Home2Suites affords me that excess.I would like to see some sort of bacon or sausage option available at breakfast in addition to all of the current breakfast options. Carnivores need love too.

    Excellent rooms and service. We chose this hotel because it has electric vehicle chargers, had free breakfast, is about 20 minutes from downtown, and 5 minutes from great restaurants. Check in- We stayed for 2 nights. Check in was smooth and friendly. Clean spacious room - It was our first time in a home2 suites. We were impressed by the kitchenette area that included a large sink, big fridge+freezer, ceramic dishes and mugs, glassware, silverware, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. There was also a sticker that said a hot plate could be provided if requested. The water pressure in the shower was good. The living room area had a sofa, ottoman, and large desk. It would make a great workspace. Quiet- We had an excellent nights sleep. The area was quiet. There was a dog next door that we could hear when walking in the hallway. However we never heard the barking or any other guests while we were in our own room. So no thin walls there.TL;DR- excellent and plan on staying again
