    I have actually stayed at this place many times, and until now, there haven't been any significant issues—except for the times when a housekeeper tried to enter the room while I was still inside. This unacceptable behavior happened not just once or twice, but a few times, to the point where I had to file a legal complain to the manager on duty at the time, Morgan Hollingshead.Aside from the housekeeper who was trying to enter the room that was still occupied, another issue that I encountered all the time is a sunken mattress and pillows that were extremely due for replacements. Also another matter that deserves full attention is the breakfast menu. There are many options available beyond just eggs, sausages, breakfast potatoes, toast, bacon and the like. It is time for menus such as Chilaquiles, Huevo Divorciados, Huevos Motuleños, Machaca con Huevos, Molletes to receive full attention from hoteliers and by doing so preventing frequent guests from becoming bored with the breakfast offerings, and thereby encouraging them to return more often to stay!.From the service perspective I have received so far has been good, especially from Mag; although I haven't known her for too long, but she has already demonstrated an unforgettable first impression i.e. Warm Welcome: Greet the guest with a friendly smile and eye contact, using their name if known. Always maintain open and professional body language. Efficient Check-in Procedure: Promptly handle the registration process, verify identification cards or passports. Explanation of Hotel Facilities: Provide a brief yet clear overview of key details, such as: breakfast times and locations; the location of amenities like the swimming pool, fitness center (gym), and spa; and Wi-Fi access and room numbers. Room & Key Information: Politely hand over the room key or card, clearly state the room number, and direct the guest to the elevator or corridor leading to their room. So, let's give a big round of applause for Mag👏👏👏

    Spacious, Clean Stay with Great Perks—But a Few Fixable Issues

    We had a great stay overall! The room was large and spotless, and the property was well-maintained. The staff was attentive and friendly, and I loved the thoughtful touches like complimentary makeup remover towelettes. The continental breakfast was very delicious with plenty of options. As a Hilton Honors Silver member, I really appreciated the complimentary bottled water and Milano cookies.There were a few hiccups, though. The digital lock on our door malfunctioned, and after much effort, both the staff and us gave up trying to fix it. This meant the staff had to let us back into our room after dinner, which was inconvenient. Also, the bathroom door squeaked REALLY loudly and could use some WD-40, and the bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working. I mentioned these issues at checkout, but the staff member didn’t make any notes, so hopefully they get addressed soon.Overall, a clean, comfortable stay with great amenities—I’d definitely return once these small maintenance issues are resolved!

    Terrible stay at Homewood Suites in Katy, TX. Stayed in room #330 from 08/04/2025 to 08/13/2025 (9 nights). Checked in 08/04/2025, hotel looked recently refreshed – new carpet in hallways, fresh paint (in progress). Windows face Katy Mills Parkway, there is street noise at all hours every night.Morning of 08/05/2025 the room door would not lock. Took two trips to the front desk to get maintenance to show up. They said there was a problem with some doors since the refresh. Apparently, it happens so often that they had a jury-rig fix on hand -they inserted a thin metal bracket in place of the striker plate. The bracket bent easily and I had to bend it back into shape a couple of times during our stay. (Almost missed a medical appointment because we couldn’t leave the door unlocked.)Morning of 08/06/2025 returned to the room mid-morning and couldn’t unlock door – keycard didn’t work. Housekeeper tried her keycard, also didn’t work. Waited 15+ minutes for someone to arrive with a device to open the door. They couldn’t explain the problem so they decided the batteries needed to be changed. Took another 30-45 minutes for them to go get batteries and come back to change them. All this time I can’t leave because my door doesn’t work.Every evening for the remainder of our stay (7 nights 08/06-08/12/2025) the keycard would not open the door. Each evening I had to go down to the front desk to get someone to open the door or give me a new keycard. It did not get fixed during our stay.On 08/07/2025 the towel rack next to the vanity fell off the wall. It was installed with a wood screw into sheetrock, no backing, no anchor. Maintenace did fix it the same day, but it should not have happened.I normally use housekeeping on short stays, but as this stay was 9 nights I requested housekeeping refresh the room on 08/08/2025. When I returned late that evening ready to shower and go to bed, the door again did not work. Once in the room I discovered that housekeeping had collected all the used towels, but left no clean towels. Another tip down to the front desk for towels.Through all of these events, the hotel never offered to change rooms, never volunteered any discount. I also never heard from the hotel manager. In fact, I made several efforts to speak to the manager, both morning and evening, but they were never onsite. After three days I finally spoke to an assistant manager who said that he couldn’t do anything without speaking with the manager. When I checked out two days later the desk clerk was unaware of any adjustment to my bill. The assistant manager was there and said he could take one night off my bill and give rewards points. When I said I didn’t want the points and asked what else he could do, he again couldn’t do anything without speaking to the manager. I had to leave, so my bill was uncertain at that point. I got a phone call from the assistant manager while driving home, he offered the one-night discount and 10K points – take it or leave it. 10K points is about ¼ of the cost for a one-night stay. NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

    Isabel at the front is the perfect combination of hospitality and attentiveness. She was there when we checked in at 9pm and again the next morning at 10am. Always with a smile. Good free breakfast, clean, fun location-helpful texts. Highly recommend.
