  Horrible stay. This place was once excellent but not anymore.   My husband and I did an overnight "staycation"... What a treat -- this Homewood Suites by Hilton Memorial is fabulous ...Super clean // great sized room // good bed and shower ... The TV volume is questionable - thank goodness for closed captioning!Breakfast was good -- lots of variety and lovely staff, etc.Checkin was easy. Ashley, it was lovely meeting you when checking out yesterday morning.Super convenient to everything -- shopping, restaurants, etc.

  The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and the location felt safe. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the bed in room 105. You can see the dip in the mattress as soon as you walk in, and it feels just as bad as it looks. Since the whole reason I booked a room was to sleep, I have to say the saggy old mattress was a definite negative experience. Very disappointing indeed.   Booked three nights, woken with a call telling me to leave. When I told them my booking was three nights they argued with me and told me to leave. They then lied and doubled down on their rudeness in subsequent interactions.   Was very impressed with this particular Homewood Suites. It is 15 to 20 minutes drive west of downtown Houston, but would definately stay here again. Workers are very attentive & accommodating. Breakfast was very good with multiple options; breakfast was not the same two consecutive days. There are multiple workers at the breakfast buffet constantly making sure food does not run out, cleaning tables, & greeting hotel guests. Very impressed with the room, very clean, bed very comfortable, good size bathroom, clean and organized kitchen. I will definately stay here again; they just need to continue hiring the awesome people that are currently working & proudly maintain this Honewood Suites.
