  PERSONAL BELONGINGS STOLEN

  I initially intended to overlook the issues I experienced upon arrival, including the lengthy wait to check in, because I understood that the front desk attendant was working alone and doing her best under difficult circumstances.However, I am now compelled to report a much more serious concern. During my stay, my Beats by Dre over-ear headphones were stolen from my room. I deliberately left them on the bed when I left the hotel because I did not need them for the activities I had planned. The headphones remained in the room for the duration of my stay and were not taken with me at any point.When I returned to my room, the headphones were missing. I immediately notified the front desk attendant, who stated that housekeeping does not typically enter occupied rooms. However, that explanation does not address the fact that hotel staff still have access to guest rooms. My headphones were present when I left and gone when I returned.I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by this situation. Not only have I lost an expensive personal item, but I am now preparing to board a flight without the headphones I intentionally brought for travel. Guests should be able to leave their belongings in a secured hotel room without worrying that those items will disappear.I am requesting that hotel management investigate this matter immediately, review any available records regarding room access during my stay, and contact me regarding the steps being taken to address this incident.

  After driving 15+ hours from Iowa to Houston and arriving around 7 AM exhausted, the last thing I expected was to be treated like I was trying to commit a crime just to check into a room. I presented multiple forms of identification, including my driver’s license(expired 2 months ago hence why I’m in Houston) and a valid TWIC card, other credentials such as work ones, but the clerk refused to work with me and made the entire process unnecessarily difficult. Instead of helping find a solution, I was met with an attitude that made me feel unwelcome. I canceled my stay, went to a nearby Red Roof Inn, and they checked me in immediately with no issues. They even waived the early check-in fee and charged less than this hotel. For a small hotel, the customer service was surprisingly poor. If you’re tired after a long trip and just want a smooth check-in experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

  Fraudulent Charges by Hotel

  I recently stayed at Kozy near Aldine, Tx & had the WORST EXPERIENCE. I checked in around 11 pm 5/23 to celebrate my birthday the next day in Houston. I immediately was charged a $100 indecent fee, which is outrageous but I paid it. Everything was fine until check out. Me and my ONE other guest stayed there until approximately 10:45 am when we checked out. We did NOT use anything but the bathroom & ONE face towel of theirs because we brought our on. We cleaned and checked out after waking up. About 18 minutes later there was ANOTHER $80 charge to our card. We immediately called and spoke to someone named "Q" at the front desk who informed us the charge was from hair dye on three pillows and a face towel. Neither me nor my guest HAVE EVER dyed our hair. We didn't even have makeup on or any other coloring products. After informing him of this he was very rude and disregarding of the issue stating things like "my housekeeper said it so I charged you", "I'm not giving you a refund" & claiming there's no one to talk to and disconnecting the call. I called back mutiple time looking for some sort of resolution and God, many sighs of deep breath, teeth sucking, and all out rude attitude before getting placed on hold for 20 minutes. When I finally got through the line again, this "Q" person was on the phone with his manager named "Crystal" who was just as dismissive as him stating it's nothing they can do. They can have me speak to the area manager later in the week. They proceeded to threaten to call the police on me for harassing them all because I wanted a refund, at that point I made a report myself. The officer even made a joke about how "Q" had a different tone once his manager was on the phone. I was denied information and proof multiple times before receiving this email. This is the worst experience we've ever had.

  Kozy means Cozy . Most comfortable beds we had on cross country road trip !!!

  Excellent hotel with very comfortable beds. Easy in and out location. Will definitely stay here again if in Houston area. Nice restaurant down the road Casa Nueva . Quiet rooms with plenty of amenities.

  The place is pretty good. They have a pool and spa. I enjoyed here!
