    They are currently under renovation, so lots of transitions. We were looking forward to the hot tub but it was not working and not posted on the website. The bedding was clean but sheets were a little threadbare. The bathroom was not clean, luckily I bring my own cleaning wipes. The mirror was disgusting because the grooves had never been cleaned, there was toothpaste and dirt packed on it and hair on the toilet. Breakfast was ok, the waffles were the highlight. All the staff were friendly.

    The housekeeping visited my room every single day for a week and missed absolutely nothing! Perfect service!     Love to stay here when going to Round Top. Easy access to restaurants. Hotel is in the middle of a remodel. We have stayed here several times in the past. The hotel is quiet and feels safe.Remodeling is ongoing in the hotel.     The hotel has a great location. It’s never 3 better than average restaurants and close to Walmart and H‑E‑B. Breakfast is the normal hotel variety with waffles, cereal, muffins. If you’re in the mood for a breakfast sandwich McDonalds is next door. Rooms are spacious and the entire hotel is always clean.
