We traveled with two of our grandsons for an ATA tournament and had a very enjoyable stay. This LQ appeared to be newly remodeled and was very clean. The beds were comforable and breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again when next we visit Conroe. Good experience! Except rearrange the breakfast area so that the waffle machine doesn't create a bottleneck

Staff were wonderful! We arrived for late check-in at 11 pm. The fire alarm in our room kept chirping so I called the front desk and the girl there came down and took care of it right away. Breakfast was okay, the usual. Coffee was good and hot with a Keurig style coffee machine. With a bad back I had been looking forward to the hot tub and it was very nice! We got in too late to use it that night but the next morning the pool area opened at 7:00 and the hot tub was a good temperature with powerful Jets. Room was clean and smelled fresh. AC worked good. Overall very happy with my stay and would stay again. If there was anything I would change, one thing I noticed was the breakfast layout was a little crowded and disorganized the waffle maker needs to be in the middle of the room where people can move around people who are making waffles because they had it right next to the juice machine which was in a corner and it was difficult to get to the juice machine when people were making waffles. Pros: Room was clean, location convenient, check-in and -out fast and easy. Cons: Beds a bit too firm, Breakfast is limited so go early. In town with for a wedding Feb 5-8. Booked thru expedia for a great price. Nice area of Conroe. This La Quinta is easy to get to and immaculate! Did not get staff names but everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Spacious, quiet room. Pleasant surprise was ceiling fan, rainfall/massage shower was lovely. Sheets crisp, towels thick and soft. Loved that we could open the window for fresh air. Will stay here on our next visit to Conroe! The moment you walked into this Hotel, you felt welcome. The greeting was warm and the entrance was clean and very presentable. I was allowed to check in a tad early; wonderful. Parking was quick & easy. The hallway & room were well unkept, clean, & presentable with minimal marks & dings on walls, baseboards, & furniture. We headed for the pool area and once again found the area clean and wonderfully kept. Did have to secure towels from the front desk. Pool was HEATED perfectly. Hot tub was inviting with all jets working!! Our beds & pillows were comfortable and linens soft. Tv options offered a good range of viewing selection. Room was quit and we received a great night of rest. Breakfast in the morning was very adequate with eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast, bagels, waffles, yogurt, 4 cereals, & beverage choices. Staff were friendly and helpful with any question. WONDERFUL!!! THANKYOU!
