  No Clean Towels

  We stayed for three nights and never received fresh towels. They said they only clean the rooms every fourth day, and if you want clean towels for showering, you have to bring in your dirty ones between 9 am and 2 pm. We came into Houston for an event that lasts all day. We weren't AT the hotel between 9 and 2. I have numerous other small complaints, but the real problem was the towels. We also couldn't get more toilet paper, soap, or shampoo during those three days, but the towels were by far the biggest problem.When we complained, Red Roof sent us a coupon for a discount on a later stay, but I don't know that we'd ever want to stay with them again.   We stayed during our relocation to the Houston area. The hotel management team was new. I must say, it was a very pleasant experience. Extremely friendly, they assisted us in our transition with directions, anything we needed. Security, conveniently located, clean, friendly. It was a very pleasant experience.   Gross & dirty.

  Do NOT stay at this motel!Dogs barking from rooms all over the motel. My room smelled like a dead fish. Bedding had cigarette burns on it, upon entering the bathroom there was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower rod, disgusting.No lamp on the single bedside table, no alarm clock as advertised, the blow dryer was completely broken. No blankets available and it was very cold outside, they claimed " We are out of them." Other guests smoking in their rooms and stare wells. With the exception of the female night front desk clerk, the staff are rude.Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

  Extended Stay With Superb Service

  As an extended-stay guest, I have always received professional, courteous and efficient assistance from Katie, manager of this property, and from her front desk staff, Dana and Lorrie, plus excellent housecleaning service from Lupe & Catalina. Parking is ample, and the location couldn't be more convenient. Requests and any problems are quickly and politely addressed with simply a call to the front desk.
