    Because of a recent experience at a Choice hotel a few miles from here I was skeptical about the area.This was a completely different experience.The outside appearance was much better than expected.A clean remodeled lobby with a warm welcome from the front desk.The room was freshly updated,very clean.Nice comfortable bed.Breakfast was the usual Rodeway Inn,nothing special but a nice variety,well stocked in an unusually clean newly remodeled room.There is a great Mexican restaurant across the street & several more in a 5 minuet or less walk,seems to be a safe enough place to take a walk.Lots of nearby shopping.I will stay again when traveling through the area..

    Not what we expected from a Choice hotel partnerArrived in the afternoon, we checked in and went to the room, smelt musty, only 2 sets of towels when there was a part of 4. Breakfast was not that appealing and when asked for more bagels the answer was we dont have anymore only decent thing was the coffee

    Hotel was very old but l guess you get what you pay for. The lady at front desk was quite rude & we did not find her friendly or helpful. The room was big enough but very basic. No coffee or tea in room which l have never experienced before. Breakfast was extremely poor. Overall the hotel needs a huge overhaul & a new manager. l would never stay there again !

    The Choice Hotel app rated this a 4. Nope. It’s maybe a 2. Doesn’t look like a very well-maintained motel but it looks like they are painting and trying to improve. We will stay elsewhere tomorrow night. Nightstand is pretty beat up and I’m not sure that lock is going to hold. We will try the chairs against the door at bedtime!

    The first room the tv did not work then the handle came off in my hand. Got another room that was just as bad. Not very clean. Need lots of repairs. The staff is very friendly and tried to be helpful but were not able to assist us. No coffee machine in the room. Would not have a shower as it did not look safe. Lamp shade torn. Plug for the light did not look safe. Just needed a lot of repairs in the room. Breakfast was okay, basic. Location is not very good. All in all there was too much construction in Houston. It was very difficult to get around.
