    Greetings from IHG® Hotels & Resorts Guest Relations. I hope you’re doing well. My name is Bembie, and I’m one of the Senior Case Managers.I’m reaching out regarding Ms. Akila Green’s concern. The guest has been in contact with us regarding her experience at the hotel. Ms. Green said that there were roaches in her room, and that her key cards were repeatedly deactivated, requiring multiple replacements. She also mentioned that there was a notice in the elevator advising guests not to bring food into the rooms, which she found confusing given that the room is equipped with a full kitchen. Additionally, she raised concerns about an unpleasant odor in the room. Ms. Akila contacted the hotel and spoke with a manager for approximately one hour but felt that the interaction was unhelpful and came across as rude, as she was questioned about why the concern was only being raised at that time. We attempted to assist the guest by offering points compensation as a gesture of goodwill; however, she declined and is requesting a full refund instead. With that said, may we kindly ask for your assistance in reviewing this matter further and advising if there is any flexibility that can be extended to address the guest’s concerns. The guest also expressed a desire to speak with the hotel owner; however, we have explained that we do not have access to that information.     Sat in room for an hour before realizing the egregious bed bug infestation. Was offered no reimbursement and 10k points (which doesn’t cover the room) let alone the clothes/bags thrown out, the uber to next hotel, nor the next hotel stay.     ⭐ STAY AWAY – DISGUSTING & UNSAFE CONDITIONSWe stayed at Staybridge Suites Houston IAH – Beltway 8 for one night (January 2nd–3rd) and booked two rooms. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences of my life.Both rooms were infested with roaches. Not one bug. Not a possibility. An infestation. Roaches crawling in the room where my family was supposed to sleep.What makes this even worse? The staff already knew about it. When we reported the issue, their response was shockingly dismissive:“Well, not all rooms have roaches.”That is NOT an acceptable response under any circumstance.I was traveling with my wife, father-in-law, my 2-year-old son, and my 6-month-old baby girl. Putting infants and young children in a roach-infested room is unacceptable, unsafe, and completely negligent. This is a serious health concern, not a minor inconvenience.No urgency. No genuine apology. No real solution offered. Just excuses.This hotel clearly has serious sanitation problems and management doesn't care. If the staff is openly admitting some rooms have roaches, that tells you everything you need to know.Do NOT stay here. Especially if you are traveling with children or family. This place should be avoided at all costs.     Extremely Disappointed with My Stay – Beware! Roaches EVERYWHERE

    I stayed at Staybridge Suites, 1910 North Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston, TX from May 16–18, 2025, and it was an awful experience.I arrived late on Friday night and was initially given Room 209, which smelled musty and had torn carpeting. I requested to be moved and was given Room 425—unfortunately, things only got worse. The room had a roach problem (yes, roaches on the walls, kitchen counter, and bathroom floor), and the air conditioning was completely broken, leaving the room unbearably hot.To make matters worse, brown water came out of the bathroom faucet, which is completely unacceptable. When I reported all these issues to the front desk staff (who were very polite and tried to help), I was told that management was aware of similar complaints but there were no other rooms available. Maintenance was not available until the next day, and no action was taken during my entire stay. I was provided a small fan for the second night, which was hardly sufficient.Despite repeated complaints to the front desk, I never received any follow-up or apology from the property manager, nor was I offered any compensation for the terrible conditions. I paid $216 for this stay, and it was absolutely not worth it.I’ve stayed at other Staybridge locations and had good experiences, but this property was a nightmare. Roaches, broken A/C, brown water, and no managerial accountability. Until major improvements are made here, I would highly recommend staying elsewhere!     We have stayed at this hotel many times before departing from George Bush airport. The hotel has deteriorated over time. In our recent stay, condensation from the air conditioner leaked on to the carpet. In the bathroom, wallpaper was peeling away from walls at many locations. They used to have acceptable and recognizable food at their social hour and breakfast. Not any more. We will no longer stay here.
