    I enjoyed this hotel because I love the FREE self park option at the mall and my room was nice and clean. the highlight for me was the Westin club lounge. it was clean, great food options for breakfast, and most importantly, Martha who services the space in the mornings could not be kinder or more helpful. she takes great pride in running the breakfast and it shows. she truly made my stay memorable. I hope she realizes how much she is valued, and I hope Westin knows that too.     Beautiful property, great location and top notch service. Elevators gave us some trouble and the staff quickly allowed use of the service elevator and re-routed guests quickly. Beautiful view of the city from the higher levels.     I stayed at The Westin Oaks (Houston) on January 30–31, and it was one of the most disgusting hotel experiences I’ve ever had.I arrived late and went straight to bed. I felt something uncomfortable in my bed. I reached and grabbed what felt like a small object and threw it on the floor, thinking it was maybe plastic or something random left behind.The next morning, I looked and realized what it was: a packet/bottle of sex lube from who knows who. That means the bed was clearly not properly cleaned or changed before I checked in. No one should ever find something like that in their bed, especially at a hotel that’s supposed to be clean and professional.This is beyond unacceptable. It’s unsanitary, disturbing, and shows a complete lack of basic housekeeping standards.     Nice, convenient hotel attached to the Galleria Mall. I was able to check in early on a Sunday around 1pm. The hotel clerk was friendly, I asked for an upgrade but none were available for a double queen room, instead I was given access to what I believe was M lounge benefits. This was nice breakfast, coffee, and snacks in a private room that required key card access. Paid parking right across from the hotel was about $20 per day. Valet is much higher and frankly not worth it. We were visiting DelFrisco’s Restaurant which was a quick 3 minute walk from the hotel. We also were able to access the mall from the 3rd floor. Great spot, nice rooms, clean facility.     This Hotel Is Lipstick On A Pig

    As an Ambassador member I have had a bad experience two straight visits. Galway’s are loud with people in and out of rooms most of the night. I encountered one of them smelling like weed in a non smoking hotel last visit. This visit people were in and out of each others rooms knocking on doors until after 3 AM.
