Caution!! The Baymont by Wyndham/Developer Suites near Jacksonville International Airport is not a hotel that you would like to stay. I have never written a bad review, but this place merits a bad one. Don't stay here. The front desk person was nice enough, and the price is a deal, 2 miles from the airport for early flights, but we discovered why. Other than that, I give the place the rating of dump. No cold water, only hot came form the bathroom facets, so no drinking water We reserved a room for two people, towels for only one were provided. It was so late when we arrived from the mountains that we didn't bother to complain. Judging from other reviews, even if we had, we would not have gotten towels that evening anywaty, maybe not by morning. The walls around the light switches were filthy, the dirt in the corners of the bathroom were obvious, there was some goo on the walls, the sheets were stained, the decorative red pillows were falling apart, making me wonder how old they are and what they were used for by previous guests.The floors were sticky and dirty. Pool was closed for "renovations" There was no TV guide and there were only channel numbers on the menu of the TV. The phone to the front desk was dead. I had to call the hotel with my cell phone to ask about the TV stations and was infomed that there is no guide for the stations at this hotel. I am a Wyndham Resort owner and this is well below Wyndham standards. They should not represent this hotel, I am so disappointed and would try to be released from my ownership if I experience this low quality again.

Notes on Baymont room 316.Floor was so dirty. My feet were muddy when I got in the tub.The tub was so slippery. I almost fell. There is no bedside lamp and no nightlight to help walk in the dark. It smelled like smoke. Not a king. The sheets on the bed were stained and marked up. The caulking in the bathroom is all moldy and dirty. First room we were given 321. We could not open the door even though the electronic lock worked. Room smelled like cigarette smoke.

This place was TRASH, didn't have enough towels when arrived that evening and was told by front desk, the lady who gets towels was gone for the night & they wouldn't have access until the morning!! One morning the cook didn't show up, so no breakfast that morning for any guests. This place needs to shut down, even the showers didn't have full doors, a lot of lowlifes seem to be staying there or around all the time. I usually don't write negative reviews, but this place deserved it.

Very uncomfortable experience with the morning staffing. Was treated like I was not supposed to be there. There was mold throughout the bathroom shower as well as peeling paint on the door and walls. Watched staff member verbally abuse another customer for eat to much of the food all while yelling and complaining about various things. She began shoving the chairs and tables around while we were eating and began using profanity prior to storming out of the back door. The front desk lady stood gaurd blocking the back door that leads to the guest rooms to ensure that no one carried food to their rooms. There's exposed rotting wood under the above walkway that had to be blocked off with plywood to ensure that no one fell through. I only stayed one day out of the three days that I paid for due to being so uncomfortable.
