  Candlewood- a bright spot!

  Spent less money here than at the hotel Lotus not so far away and this Candlewood was a thousand times better! Several motels in this neighborhood have turned out to be sweaty armpits that need to be bulldozed. This is a bright spot at Candlewood, hard to believe it's part of the IHG group. A fair price at Candlewood for excellent accommodations, not the IHG group's style who has been gouging people since covid.

  We were so pleased with this hotel! It’s a lovely place, clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly! We will definitely stay here again!

  The hotel staff is very unprofessional and immature. There was an incident during our stay with a large police presence, and we were never given an explanation for it, or comped for our stay. The facilities were clean, but I would not recommend staying here unless there is new management.   Could do Better

  This hotel could do a little bit better. First of all, the TV is located on the very top of the furnace/air unit, which made viewing TV difficult. Second, the temperature control does not work properly. We had it set at 69 and the lowest it would go was 75 degrees for the air conditioning. The light above the sink did not work. The staff was bland, no warm welcome was received.
