    Bed Bugs

    My grandson woke up at 3 in the morning with bed bugs on him. Both beds had bed bugs. The room had many issues and not clean. I informed the worker and asked if there had been any other reports and he said no. I really don’t believe him. First time dealing with bed bugs, so really stressed out. I checked for any reports of bed bugs at hotel and didn’t see any, so that is why I am writing this review for other people that maybe staying there.

    Clean, quiet, comfortable. Superb staff, Veteran parking, basic breakfast, large room. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Someday the huge library at Benedictine College will be complete. Safe, private feel on a hill. Many thanks!

    Super scary super 8 (blood on the bedsheets)

    Walked in and walked out just as quick. The room was very unsettling in general. The door is left open until you check in which is the policy, but what happens if someone just walks in and does whatever they want before we get there. There was not a top slider lock, because it had been broke off. The door looked as if one kick could knock it down. We peel back the sheets and there is blood on them, we left immediately after that and will NOT go back.

    The hotel was affordable, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was not particularly good, but the cost difference between Super 8 and other hotels made up for it. It's quick to get into town or Walmart, and not far from Benedictine College. Staff were friendly and responsive. For an affordable option, it was not in a shady or suspect neighborhood, the property was just a little old.

    The staff was wonderful but the room was dirty. The shower water pressure was amazing. I wish all Wyndham properties had the same water pressure that this property had.
