    This place smells from the second you walk in..I came down with a terrible cold after staying there. The staff is rude and the rooms are beyond dated. I found mold almost everywhere in the hotels. The middle eastern woman at the counter has an attitude and clearly has an issue accepting money. If I was you I'd avoid this dumpster fire at all costs.     A health hazard and water damage horrid smell

    The room I was checked into has definitely had water damage and is full of a heavy mildew smell and has a definite probability of covered mold. I need to leave because it is a risk to my health and is a health hazard across the board.     Just drive past and think again before booking

    The room wasn't clean, inc black mold in bathroom, internet wasn't working and staff were dismissive of any complaint. Not worth it at all.     This is by far the worst motel/hotel I’ve stayed in either overseas or in the U.S.! My wife and I attended her good friend’s wedding last night in Saugerties. We checked in just after 3PM. Our room had a musty smell and also smelled like it had previously been a smoking room. We noticed old gum behind the room door, dust everywhere, a beat up office chair with scratches, stains on the paint and on curtains, and hairdryer that was missing many pieces. The toilet bowl was also loose.We quickly made the decision to get dressed for the wedding and check out of this motel. We only live about little over an hour away so we decided to come home after the wedding. We took pictures. I will be contacting Expedia about a refund and I will be contacting the national headquarters for Howard Johnson. There is absolutely no reason this place should be in business until Wyndham, their parent company, decides to shut the place down and completely renovate it! To boot, the lobby also had a musty and smoky smell to it. It’s totally unacceptable for this location to be in business!!
