  This is my family's first vacation to Nevada. My wife celebrated her birthday and had a business conference so we stayed a week. We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus in South Henderson. Great hotel in a great town.   Best staff and service!

  We came away from every interaction with their staff just blown away by their level of customer service! So kind, so helpful, always going above and beyond any interaction we had. Front desk person checking us in had water bottles for us when we came in with our suitcases late at night AND brought up toothpaste to our room when we forgot ours. Breakfast crew continuously restocked and reassured us when we spilled anything and quickly picked it up; Lisa at the front desk was so helpful, getting us towels and opening the pool for us, and making sure we could get back in, joking with the kids and being so friendly. We just kept looking at each other so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the staff was! Thank you —you made all the difference in our experience!   Arrived Tuesday night to a torn top sheet. Had to take it off & down to the front desk & had to remake my bed myself. Was guaranteed that my room would be deep cleaned the next day & came back after being gone all day to my room not being cleaned at all that day. Garbage still there, dirty towels in the bathroom, bed unmade. Went to front desk again because my phone in my room didn’t work either & nothing taken care of. Also my chair was broken & couch was torn. Hot tub was cold. Just overall an extremely bad stay for 3 days & no compensation was given at all.   In the morning the housekeepers were in the hallway speaking so loudly we weren’t able to sleep in. We extended our checkout time then around 1:40 my husband went downstairs to extend our stay another night. One housekeeper knocked at 1:55 to let us know we had to leave at 2, I explained my husband was downstairs trying to book another night. Lisa the front desk lady came up to the room 2 minutes later and unlocked my door before I could open it. She said we have to leave. I told her my husband was downstairs trying to book another night, she said that’s a lie I was just down there. She then threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave (we weren’t resisting leaving just explaining the situation and at this point I was being very nice still although she opened our door without permission so that was very uncalled for and unprofessional) and she claimed he wasn’t down at the desk since “she was just there” but he was there for 15-20 minutes and not helped. Felt very unwelcomed and uncomfortable over a miscommunication on their end and they handled the situation very poorly.
