    We have sent four written requests to Wyndham over the past four months regarding serious concerns with our ownership and have received no acknowledgment or response. The lack of communication is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.During the sales process, we were led to believe we would have flexibility to travel widely and easily. In reality, availability has been very limited, and we have been unable to use the ownership as expected—even after upgrading. They also opened 2 credit cards in our name without our consent! At this point, we are requesting direct contact from Wyndham to address our concerns and discuss next steps, including cancellation options. They are radio silent!! Based on our experience, we would strongly encourage others to thoroughly research and fully understand the limitations before purchasing.

    Relaxing place to stay near the strip

    When RCI gives you a great points deal for a week stay, you gotta jump on it! Stayed here with mom and the location was right where we wanted to be. For us, being right on Spring Mtn Road was good for us since we like to eat in the Chinatown area mostly. Because the week wasn't so busy, we were upgraded to a Margaritaville two bedroom the second night of our stay. The room definitely was very nice and comfortable, and props to the staff that helped us do that.Yes, the property isn't on the strip but if you do have a car, there are no fees to park and you can usually find a space here even at night and its not that bad. Having the shuttle go to the strip is a bonus too. If this property is too far for you, perhaps consider booking its sister property the Grand Desert on Harmon Ave instead. Otherwise, I prefer DB because its much more calmer and newer than GD. Will book again!

    Horrible Experience with the Sales Team

    I’m not one to normally leave bad reviews, but I am going to about this one. The sales team was absolutely horrible to deal with. Extremely pushy, and wouldn’t take no for an answer. We finally had to tell them we would think about attending a meeting and get back with them just to get them to stop. We discussed it and had not changed our minds, so I texted the guy and informed him that we absolutely would not be attending the meeting and to take us off of the schedule. They never responded back, and never took us schedule, so we got a call the morning of our “meeting” from the sales manager. He was extremely pushy and rude. I explained that we already told the other guy we wouldn’t be going, and I had asked him to remove us. He kept on, and kept on. I finally just had to say, listen, we aren’t changing our minds, we won’t be there, and as I was in the middle of saying thank you anyway, he HUNG UP ON ME. Mind you, I was friendly this entire time and not once was ugly, rude, or disrespectful. I am absolutely disgusted by the behavior of the MANAGER and his staff. I understand having a job to do, but you catch more flies with honey, AND you’ll never keep clients with that type of behavior. I will NEVER return to Club Wyndham Desert Blue in Las Vegas and it’s honestly sad, because it’s a beautiful resort. I will also be reporting this man’s and his team’s behavior to corporate.

    We have written 5 letters within a couple of months to Wydham, informing the company that we have a lot of concerns. But there has been ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE or Acknowledgment of our letters! This has been the worst company to deal with. The lies and misrepresentations by the sales team were the start of this horrible experience. They build it up to make it sound so good; once you purchase it, you discover they're liars and no one will communicate with you! They all said to wait at least 10 days to reach out again and I wondered why? Later, I found out that that was the period to be able to cancel the sale and NOBODY told us.     We enjoyed our stay here at the Blue. Good location, close enough to the Strip, without being on the strip. Lots of eateries close by. The pool rules are a bit strict for family. “No pool toys” even if they are simple dive toys for kids. Amenities and activities offered through the week are lovely. The activities staff 10/10! Friendly and helpful.
