    The cocktail waitresses are so rude, also the casino is outdated, stinking like an old bar. Don't spend your money there.

    Don’t come on a weekend and stay in the Pavilion!!

    Check in was great. So, I guess I should have rated it better, but I can’t. The room they gave me, I was told it was “sort of a strip view”, it was kitty corner to Container Park, where on the weekend the Praying Mantis music and fire goes off every 20 min til 1am. Then there is the Limelight Bar closer to the rooms (directly across the street) that plays music, like a concert, til 4am. Needless to say, it’s 1:30 am now and I can’t sleep!! Terrible place to stay.

    Historical at a descent price on Fremont street

    A historical hotel casino right in the heart of Fremont street, Las Vegas. Friendly staff, the "original 47" rooms are interesting but you can only get there walking up stairs. There is an elevator to get to other rooms such as the tower. Staying in one of the original rooms was neat but for some reason was very cold, Even after turning off the a/c unit. Only stayed one night so i didn't want to bother front desk. Room was descent for the price.

    If I could give a zero rating I would! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! Not sure of the name of the lady in charge of the front desk at night, but I was told it may be Alice. My wife and I rented a movie that had a terrible delay in it and when we called to ask if we could not be charged for it considering we couldn't watch it and only made it 4 minutes into the movie the lady at the front desk told me that 4 minutes was enough time to watch a movie and she would not take it it off of the bill. So as things escalated on the phone with eachother she was actually yelling at me.I told her I was coming down stairs to talk to her boss. When I got downstairs there were 5 cops waiting for me, saying they were going to trespass me from the property because I threatened her life! (This was I lie!) When I asked them exactly what I said to threaten her life and then reminded her that our phone call was recorded she said she couldn't say what I said. She finally admitted that all I did was call her the b-word. Then when I stated that I was never spending another dallor in this establishment she mocked me! Saying oh no what were they going to do if I didnt spend my money with them. Never have I been so disrespected in my life by a company! I will never forget this and will always tell people I meet to never go to the El cortez hotel and casino in vegas!

    This is our second visit to El Cortez. We have become repeat guests due to the exceptional service, spacious accommodations, and complimentary valet parking. Additionally, the hotel features a 24-hour coffee shop and conveniently located elevators near the reception area. The beds are comfortable and the showers are spacious. We would like to extend our appreciation to Joaquin, Front Desk Agent, and Yendy, Housekeeping. We look forward to returning soon.
