    Price gouging con concerning snotty rude staff

    Holiday inn express TropicanaMy friend and I recently stayed at a Holiday Inn and were extremely disappointed with the level of customer service we received. While the hotel itself was adequate, our experience was significantly impacted by repeated negative interactions with a front desk employee named Luisa.From the moment we arrived, Luisa was consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Throughout our stay, she made sarcastic and unnecessary comments toward both of us, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. We had requested an early check-in weeks in advance and were told upon arrival that it was not possible. However, while we were waiting, another guest arrived hours after us, demanded an early check-in, and was not only accommodated immediately but was also given a room upgrade. Witnessing this level of inconsistency and favoritism was frustrating and disappointing.Hospitality is built on professionalism, fairness, and customer service, and unfortunately our experience reflected none of those qualities. Rather than feeling like valued guests, we felt dismissed and treated as an inconvenience. Luisa's behavior continued throughout our stay and ultimately overshadowed what could have been an otherwise pleasant visit.I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns. No guest should be made to feel unwelcome or treated differently than others without explanation. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to stay at this location again.     Great place to stay for a trip to Las Vegas

    The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Las Vegas Tropicana was the ideal place to me to stay in Las Vegas.It is one of the hotels which is NOT directly located at the "strip" (Las Vegas Boulevard) itself and hence, more calm than the others, aformentioned hotels. It also does not offer a casino which I didn't need either. Thus, I can definitely say, that this hotel is perfect for someone who rather focuses in exploring Las Vegas and its vicinity in general and who also looks for a calm environment including a clean and very tidy gym. Latter is spacious and bright and one of the cleanest I have ever seen.A good and diverse breakfast next to a fair price complement to all other positive points listed.Only "room for improvement" was/is the air conditioner, which I instantly switched off but, however, never really did stop working which obviously turned out annoying during the night.Overall, 5 of 5 - thank you 👌👍 Lorraine Montes, General Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Las Vegas - E Tropicana by IHG, responded to this review Thank you so much for your wonderful review and the 5-star rating!     Nice hotel. Clean and very convenient to the strip. Breakfast always good and the pool and hot tub were very nice. Close to the airport.     We stayed here Feb 14 thru 18. The woman who checked us in the evening of Feb 14 was fantastic! I wish I knew her name but hopefully her boss will see this review. This hotel is in walking distance to the MGM and the monorail. Breakfast was good. The hotel is well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay here again.     Genuine Hospitality - Refreshing

    Checked in very late or early depending on perspective and was greeted by a very friendly and professional front desk representative named Rashad. After a full day of traveling it was a refreshing experience to be treated with genuine hospitality. Rashad is definitely an asset to this location.Room was nice, clean room and free breakfast was consistent. Hotel staff was most helpful and everyone wanted to extend themselves with warm greetings and smiles (unusual in a world where many businesses employees are more interested in staring at their phones).I would recommend this hotel.Thanks Lorraine Cabatbat, General Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Las Vegas - E Tropicana by IHG, responded to this review Wow, thank you for this wonderful review!
