    This is the second time we have stayed at this lodge. Rooms are large, nonsmoking and the beds are good. It is quiet and easy to get to off of the highway. There is an outdoor area that overlooks Lake Mead. Front desk is efficient. Best, price is great and it's away from Vegas crazy. We will be back I'm sure!

    The hotel is not family friendly, the staff is not accommodating, and it has been one of the ODDEST and worst stays I’ve had. It advertises that it has an arcade which the kids are not allowed in because they are near the period of different slot machines. The guest services were rude to them and us. When we ask them for change for the laundry, none of them were allowed to give us quarters. It just felt overall a very odd experience, almost as if we were troubling them when we are paying hotel guests. We decided to leave a day early due to experience. I would highly recommend not coming here.

    So Glad I Stopped In

    I did not spend the night, but I stopped here on a whim after visiting the Dam. I have to say - I was surprised how much I enjoyed stopping in here! What a gem! I was hungry, so I ate in the bar/restaurant. The food was pretty good - the service was excellent! After eating, I walked around inside the Lodge - which the "main hall" is rather large and meandering. I love history - and there is a series of interpretive exhibits about the area that I had not seen/read about anywhere else. There is also the Hoover Dam Lodge Trailhead, located just off the parking lot. GORGEOUS views of Lake Mead at sunset. The light hits that water just perfectly. It was breathtaking. Oh - and for desert I tripled my money playing a couple of slot machines! - which paid for dinner plus my groceries for the next month! (BONUS!). I think I'll add this to my list of places to take friends when they come to visit me. (Not everyone who comes to Vegas wants to hang out on the Strip).

    Hoover Dam Lodge is a hidden gem! 💎 The pictures don't do it justice. The decor is cozy, inviting, and updated, as this is an older hotel but has charm and character. Dining options aren't super fancy but fun with various cuisines and decor from around the world. There is a one-stop shop offering cute gift options and souvenirs. They also have pastries and hot items like croissant breakfast sandwiches and burgers for a quick bite. 😋 Free coffee is offered at the bar and available for purchase in the gift shop. The rooms were super clean with a nice view of Lake Mead. ☀️ Beds were great, like sleeping on a cloud ☺️ Great value for the price if you want to stay off the strip.

    We stayed 1 night on our way from Boise, Idaho to Phoenix, Arizona and then another night on our way back home. We had such a great experience. The Hotel is very reasonably priced so you feel like you can upgrade without breaking the bank. The Room was older, but clean and spacious. When we arrived for the first visit we were super early, but the ladies at the front desk were very nice and let us check in. We were road weary so to be able to get our room and take a shower was priceless. The Casino is so clean and has different themed rooms with food and music in each room to fit that theme. The food is premade bar food so nothing fancy but very reasonably priced. The staff is all so friendly and helpful. Last but not least the view from the hotel of Lake Mead is so beautiful. I would give this place a 10/10 and will definitely go back.
