    AC LOUD AF

    rating24 May 2026

The vibe, nostalgic architecture and the service from everyone was excellent. The rooms were okay. Roomy and clean. Our room #809 faced towards the Plaza direction and you could hear the train on occasions when it would pass by the hotel annoying but okay. The train noise was tolerable as it would only be every so often. What drove us CRAZY about our room was the AC unit. That thing was LOUD AF. It made loud mechanical humming sounds and gurgling sounds the entire time, day and night. The only time it shut up was when I turned it off. The only way we got to go to sleep was to get very wasted from drinking and pass out. Which we did...lol. then would wake up to the horrible sound of the AC.Overall our experience was good. Great hidden gem. I’ll be back

    rating24 May 2026

The hotel was very clean and I loved it. Visited with wife. Arrived on a red eye flight. We had called ahead to let them know it was a late check in. The room was beautiful and had a great view of the end of Fremont Street. I saw things being constantly repaired. They are great with up keep. The buffet was good and priced competitively. The hotel is linked to the California hotel via an enclosed walkway. We used it quite a bit. Absolutely, I would stay there again! We had another red eye flight home. We checked out and we were able to store our bags for an evening checkout at the front desk. How nice is that! We spent the last day enjoying ourselves, got our bags and flew home. I slept almost all the way home. The hotel is very pretty and truly is a hidden gem. We love Fremont Street compared to the “Strip.” Better everything and this hotel is part of that. On the way down

    rating07 May 2026

The room renovations were nice, but the video poker has declined along with the buffet, the overall cleanliness and the frequency and quality of the drink service. Main Street Station seems to be trying to survive by cutting costs. The casino used to have 9-6 Jacks or Better video poker scattered throughout the casino in many denominations. I could find only three machines, all old. The formerly generous casino hosts have been replaced by someone communicating (no) only through a player's club clerk. I accidentally spilled an ash tray with three cigarette butts and watched security, servers and a janitor ignore them for at least 12 hours. The casino is still pretty, and the hotel clerk was efficient and cheerful. Nevertheless, I doubt I will play here again. Lumpy beds, tiny bathroom and noisy wind coming through outdated thin windows

    rating10 Apr 2026

Upon check-in, there was 1 front desk person and a line of about 10 people. It's Friday around 4:30pm, and it seems like management should have additional staff for the front desk. I waited about 15 minutes to check-in. The clerk was okay, but not very friendly. I had requested a quiet room when making the reservation and the employee assigned me a room on the top 17th floor. For going to sleep, the location was quiet, however the howling wind woke me at 6am. So the room was definitely NOT quiet. Both beds were terrible due to being lumpy, the mattresses were clearly heavily worn down and low quality to start with. My wife and kids were also unhappy with the uncomfortable beds. There is no microwave in the room! No way to get hot water. There was no coffee maker in the room, and no coffee in the lobby. The bathroom was unbelievably small, so small that I had to open the shower door and back into the shower to have sufficient clearance to get out of the bathroom (See the attached picture). The bathroom door also would NOT latch due to misalignment between the hole in the frame and the door. At check-out, the front desk employee did not ask how our stay was. He didn't seem to want any feedback. I calmly gave feedback to him and showed the picture of the bathroom door latch. Overall, this was the absolute worst bed I've ever had at a hotel or motel and would NEVER stay here again. Main Street Station Las Vegas -- Don't change a thing

    rating10 Apr 2026

We have been staying at the Main Street Station in downtown Las Vegas over the past decades and decided I should leave a review since I enjoy staying there. The location of the Main Street Station is a block off the end of the Fremont Street Experience. It is connected with a bridge to the sister California Hotel. The hotel is decades old, but has been continually refreshed. The rooms are spacious. The furnishings modern and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom roomy with good amenities. Unlike hotels on the strip parking is still free at the Main Street. The Main Street has one of the last remaining buffets in Vegas and it is still well worth it. Our favorite guy is the omelet chef at the buffet. He does a great omelet and is fun to chat with.Would I return? Definitely. The Main Street is like a comfortable pair of shoes. I feel welcome there and I don't have to hassle with one of those large resorts on the Strip where you have to walk half a mile to get your car. It does and has everything I want and nothing I don't need.Aloha from the Waipahu Traveler Chris J, General Manager at Main Street Station Casino Brewery Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your review!
