    Never going back criminal

    rating05 Jun 2026

This is the worst hotel. The rooms were okay not great but okay. But the worst part was the computers wouldn’t take credit cards so everything had to be charged to the room. They charged an extra $630.00 to my credit card for a three day stay. They told me it would be taken off by Thursday a week after we left and it’s still there. Donavan the manger on duty told me to call him back. Now he won’t call me back and he’s never there. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. Never going back. Wendy Molton, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am very sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration caused by the billing issue and lack of follow-up communication.I understand how concerning it can be to see an unexpected charge remain on your account after being advised it would be released. While many hotels place temporary authorizations that can take additional time for banks to process, we should have provided clear communication and timely follow-up throughout the process.I also apologize that you were unable to connect with Donovan after being asked to call back. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and I understand how disappointing that must have been.We would appreciate the opportunity to review your concerns further and ensure the status of the charge is properly explained. Please contact the hotel directly and ask to speak with Wendy Molton, Director of Rooms so we can personally assist you.Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

    Good stay

    rating01 May 2026

Location isn’t great if you want to go exploring but it’s a beautiful setting for relaxing. It’s fine if you’re driving but there is a free shuttle to the village. Friendly staff especially Steven the breakfast waiter. Breakfast buffet at Ricks is great but it gets a bit pricey if you’re staying for several days. Other eating options at the village or you can order in food delivery.Rooms are clean and spacious with good facilities. Would recommend the hotel especially if you have your own transport. Wendy Molton, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review of your stay. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful setting of the resort and found it to be a relaxing retreat. While our location offers a quiet escape from the city, we’re glad you were able to take advantage of the complimentary village shuttle and convenient access for those traveling by car. It’s especially rewarding to know that our team made a positive impression—Steven will be thrilled to receive your kind recognition. We’re also pleased you enjoyed the breakfast experience at Rick’s, as well as the cleanliness and spaciousness of our guest rooms. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another relaxing stay in the future.

Absolutely terrible. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We ran into so many problems during our stay, and the staff only made it worse. On top of not being helpful, they were rude. You could tell they definitely don't like working there and to take it out on the customers. Wendy Molton, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience with us was so disappointing. What you’ve described does not reflect the level of service and hospitality we strive to provide, and I regret that we fell short during your stay. Please know that your comments regarding both the service challenges and staff interactions are being taken seriously and will be addressed with our team. Providing a welcoming and supportive environment for our guests is a priority, and it’s clear we did not meet that expectation in your case.I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand what occurred and work toward making this right. Please feel free to contact the hotel at your convenience.Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us improve where it matters most.

    Expensive hotel to avoid

    rating21 Apr 2026

Very disappointing experience at The Westin Lake Las Vegas. Our reservation was fully prepaid, yet upon arrival we were told that no room was available for us. We were asked to wait while they “figured something out,” and ended up waiting for over 2 hours past check-in time.Eventually, we were given a king room instead of the two queen beds we had booked. As a result, we had to use two rollaway beds, which made the stay uncomfortable and far from what we paid for.The situation became even more concerning at checkout, when I discovered that I had been fully charged despite the issues with the reservation. No proper receipt was provided. When I contacted the hotel to resolve the excessive charges, the front desk manager, Donovan, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of assisting, he spoke to me in a disrespectful manner, which was shocking for a property that presents itself as a high-end resort.Summary of issues:* 2-hour delay at check-in* Wrong room type provided* Improper charges despite prepaid reservation* No receipt issued at checkout* No refund processed* Rude and unprofessional customer serviceThis experience fell far below expectations and does not reflect the standards of a resort of this level. Wendy Molton, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I sincerely apologize for the significant delays and service shortcomings you encountered during your stay. Being asked to wait well beyond check-in time, not receiving the room type you reserved, and the discomfort caused by the rollaway beds are certainly not reflective of the standards we strive to uphold.I am equally concerned to hear about your checkout experience and the interaction you described with our team. This is not the level of professionalism we expect, and your feedback has been shared with our leadership team for immediate review.Regarding your billing concerns, I kindly ask that you contact the hotel directly so we can review the charges with you in detail and ensure everything is properly resolved. You may reach us at 702 567 6000.We truly value your business and regret that this stay did not meet expectations. We appreciate the opportunity to make this right.

    Nice but poorly ran

    rating10 Apr 2026

You would think for the amount of $$$ this place cranks.. SOMEONE would be working on the “under construction “ hot tub, that has been under construction for weeks, you want creamer in your $9 coffee? Not here, they only do 50/50 and the signage to get around is confusing especially when you try to find your rooms. The products they say that are in every room or bathroom that is advertised, not happening Wendy Molton, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, especially given the level of investment you made in your stay.We understand how frustrating it is to encounter ongoing maintenance issues like the hot tub being out of service, and I apologize for the extended timeline. This is not the experience we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared with our leadership and engineering teams for follow-up.I’m also sorry for the inconvenience regarding the coffee offerings and wayfinding around the property. Clear signage and thoughtful amenities are essential to a seamless guest experience, and it’s clear we fell short in these areas. Additionally, we regret that the in-room amenities did not match what was advertised — that is something we take seriously and will be addressing internally.Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us identify where we need to improve. We truly hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
