We signed up for Tru rewards and get free comped rooms on a regular basis! Not the most upscale or updated hotel but for free rooms and access to the river and casino its worth a visit. Decent table and slot games, access to the river walk and restaurants.

Upon arriving, was met with a rude bellhop, then registration staff was just as bad if not worse, and their supervisor, Hillary was not any better. This a horrible outdated hotel. Staff couldn’t care less. Beds are horrible. Moved rooms twice at an attempt to get a comfortable bed. That was a joke. No refrigerator, unless you ask and pay 20 dollars per night. Planned on a two night stay, but will try to stay the second night at a better hotel.

The covered parking is excellent. The price was great with no extra fees. The room was in need of renovation but otherwise clean and functional. Casino was clean but very Smokey. A good value. We ate at dennys and enjoyed the meals. We took the jet boat and it right in front of the hotel.

Warm Staff, Tired Property

I stayed at the Edgewater Resort and Casino for a concert, and since it was my first visit, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Unfortunately, after just one night, I don’t think I’d return. The property feels extremely dated, and my room looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades, with noticeable wear and tear throughout. The bed was uncomfortably firm, the AC unit was so loud it was hard to relax, and the thin walls made it easy to hear neighbors talking and watching TV—definitely not ideal for light sleepers. The dining options were also quite limited. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming, but overall, the building is in serious need of TLC.

Older casino, but clean and great service. Concert venue on property is excellent and makes going to concerts a breeze!!
