  Great stay, hip hotel. We loved the pool, wish there was a hot tub though! The loungers are super comfy. Beds in the room were comfortable, not hard.The room and hotel were very clean. The infused water provided by the hotel in the lobby was refreshing. There’s a cute popcorn machine. Make sure to get a breakfast sand-which in the morning, they are good! We were happy that so many easy dining options were close by, like In-N-Out, Chipotles, a few Chinese restaurants, walgreens and Ralph’s as well. Wish the bar cocktails were a little better priced. Service all around was good from check in to check out. Will stay here again in between layovers* The continental breakfast kind of sucks , you should be able to have that stuff along with a hot item if you want, for the price.   Stayed one night. Hotel was clean, bathroom was modern and clean. Room overlooked pool. You could open the double doors overlooking the pool for fresh air. Air conditioner worked great, bed was comfortable, shuttle was easy to catch at the airport and return to the airport. Shuttle drivers were pleasant and friendly. Special shout out to Nicole at the front desk for the exceptional welcome. Would stay again.   Our stay here was exceptional. While the rooms themselves offer all the standard comforts you’d expect, the hotel as a whole feels like it explodes into full modern luxury. We really, genuinely loved it here.Our room opened out over the streets with fresh air and those classic LA vibes — such a treat. For a first‑time traveller to the USA, this place would tick every box. It’s supreme comfort at a very reasonable price point.The amenities were a standout.They offer luggage storage, an airport shuttle, and a well‑stocked mini‑market — honestly the best I’ve seen in all my travels. They even sell alcohol in the mini‑mart, which I’ve never seen before. Meal options were great too, with plenty of seating both indoors and out on the balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard. Add in a fun bar area and the whole first level has a lively, elevated vibe.Downstairs, the colourful pool area was such a surprise — disability access included, with a pool chair available. You’ll also find the gym, modern firepits, heaters for cooler evenings, and plenty of lounging space. This urban‑style setup added a burst of excitement to what was just meant to be an overnight stay.I watched the staff throughout our visit and I have to say: every single one of them went above and beyond. That level of consistency is rare.⭐ FIVE STARS FOR SERVICE⭐ FIVE STARS FOR THE VIBE⭐ FIVE STARS FOR ROOM QUALITY⭐ FIVE STARS FOR THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE EASEEverything here kept impressing us — even the fresh popcorn machine offering free popcorn on the hour, the small games selection, and the spin‑and‑win prize wheel.   Aloft is not the same

  Been a loyal Marriott and Sheraton brand user forOver 25 years and is called Bonvoy which is degraded version of the past. Went to the Aloft in el Segundo for 2 nights and was a huge disappointment when as a lifetime platinum or titanium was only offered a CONTINENTAL breakfast and NOT the usual breakfast sandwich or burrito. Also the usual 2 bottles of water was not offered either. The only plus was the check-in offered a cheaper overpriced parking fee. Well I guess goodbye Aloft with the inferior services from the past.   DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BITES

  I checked out of Aloft El Segundo two weeks ago, and this has been one of the most upsetting hotel experiences I’ve ever had.I went to bed with no bites and woke up covered in 30+ bites on my legs and butt. The bites were so severe I had to go to urgent care, and then see my doctor again a week later when they still were not healing. Weeks later, they are still visible.I don’t sleep with clothes on, which explains where most of the bites are and why I cannot post photos publicly.When I reported this, I also found a blood stain on the mattress. My room was changed, but there was no apology, no guidance, and no manager ever contacted me.After checkout, I received one response saying the hotel was not responsible, despite the fact that I went to bed fine and woke up covered in bites. Since then, they have done nothing.The aftermath has been brutal. I have been washing and rewashing my clothes in hot water over and over, sealing belongings away, and throwing out anything with crevices because of fear of contamination. I had to discard my suitcase, purse, wallet, and shoes. The stress and mental toll of worrying about bringing something into my home has been constant.This isn’t just bad customer service. It’s a complete lack of care after a serious health and safety issue.Do not stay at Aloft El Segundo.
