  Unsafe, run-down property and poor handling of prepaid reservation

  Avoid at all costs!! I booked this hotel through Expedia for a Disneyland trip and prepaid for three nights. I knew I was not booking a five-star hotel, but based on the Expedia listing and photos, I expected a clean, safe, reasonably maintained place to stay.Unfortunately, the property appeared very run-down and unclean from the moment we arrived. We drove six hours and got there around 10:00 PM. When we pulled into the parking lot, there were people loitering around the cars, including someone wandering through the parking area and another person sitting on the tailgate of a vehicle packed full of belongings while smoking. There was also no available parking, so I had to briefly park in a handicap spot just to go inside and check in.The lobby was a tiny, run-down room that smelled terrible and did not feel clean or welcoming. When we arrived, an older man came out and said the manager was not there but would be back soon. He then started clicking around on the computer, asked for my name, and followed up by saying he did not work there and was only a relative of the manager. We waited about 30 minutes for the manager to arrive.By that point, after seeing the condition of the property and the overall environment, I did not feel comfortable or safe staying there. I told the manager I wanted to cancel the reservation, and she said I would need to contact Expedia because I had prepaid. We left and found another hotel.When I contacted Expedia, they told me I had to deal with the hotel. I explained that the hotel told me to contact them. The Expedia representative attempted to call the hotel several times with no answer and escalated the issue. When I finally heard back, I was told the hotel was enforcing its cancellation policy and refusing any refund. I even offered to pay for the first night because I understood the cancellation was last minute, but the hotel still chose to keep payment for all three nights, including the two nights we did not stay.I think that is extremely poor customer service and says a lot about how this property is managed. The hotel did not match the impression given by the listing, the property appeared run-down and unclean, the check-in experience was unacceptable, and I did not feel safe staying there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families traveling to Disneyland.I am also very disappointed in Expedia’s handling of this situation, as the listing did not accurately reflect the condition of the property and there was no meaningful support after the hotel initially failed to respond.   good stay!

  my partner and i stayed one night for a disney after hours event so our only requirement was a place to sleep and this was great! it’s about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the parks. the room and bathroom were clean, microwave and fridge are provided as well. the parking and resort fee were $15 total so you couldn’t beat that! i would stay here again!   This is an older hotel but is clean and comfortable. It is walking distance to the Disneyland Parks. The Owners and Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is free. This is a budget friendly option for your Disneyland Resort visit.   Great new room. But, needs storage

  The new room (115) was beautiful. There were problems though. No dressers of any kind, so there is absolutely no where to put clothes, socks, etc. The closest is gone so the only place to hang clothes are to very short areas. So if you hang your clothes and it's a dress, it will hang on the bottom. The room was extremely dusty from sanding. One air-conditioning unit was absolutely not working in the other room that had bunk beds. The remote for the TV was missing. And the room smelled like fresh paint, so I had to go buy an air freshener.
