    Just completed a very pleasant three weekend night stay at this location. ::: My room was clean and my bed sheets were WHITE and the bed cozy. The staff was extremely attentive to modest modest requests. :;; Having very good status with Marriott, Choice, and Sonesta hotels - traveling for pleasure - I know what to expect in a reasonably priced motel stay: this place met my requirements. ::: I will be at this location for my next stay on Sunset boulevard.

    Well located on Sunset Blvd. Very simply furnished, with partly broken furniture. The shower worked very poorly. Limited parking on site. Despite the fact that the hotel promotes itself with "breakfast included in the price", there is no breakfast at all.The staff is unfriendly and downright rude. Since there are enough opportunities nearby with more interesting price-quality offers, this hotel is strongly avoided.     FAKE ADVERTISED BREAKFAST

    I had other choices before this one but the only reason I chose this hotel was breakfast which is advertised on the website. When we got there, the front desk person said they don’t do breakfast since covid… I sent a few emails because I wanted a partial refund due to my unexpected need of spending extra money. I was supposed to get a response within 48 hours and I didn’t get a response at all. Not happy with this customer service

    Horrible Room - Racist Front Desk Clerk

    HORRIBLE! My experience with Americas Best Value Inn at 5265 Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, California was very bad! Smelly, bugs, dirty and they bait and switch rooms. Not even worth 1-Star! Stayed there after seeing what they're rooms looked like online, but front desk put me in sub-par room. It was only room available in that area at that time so I had to take it. Room looked like it hadn't been renovated since 1980, smelled like smoke and I woke up with bug bites all over me. Transients all over, felt very unsafe! In the morning I complained to front desk clerk, who gave me a very "racist" and dismissive vibe, discounting everything that I was explaining to him. The front desk clerk then smiled at me and then told me he was keeping my $200 deposit as he claimed I was smoking in the room. I DON'T SMOKE ANYTHING! I'm a health nut who works out regularly.For months now, I've respectfully requested a return of my $200 back into my CC account directly to the Motel and Red Lion Hotels ( Corporate ). They refuse to refund the $200 that their clerk stole from me! Can you believe this? Highway robbery at its best!I expect a canned, unsatisfactory response from them but you are now armed with the facts.     Expect the unexpected ‼️⁉️

    Business all day in LA; looking online for something close, found this America’s best value inn on Hollywood Blvd. 1- Signed up for 20% off member rate- it never took off 20%2- Upon arrival was told they require $200 CASH deposit we weren’t aware of, so had to get cash out and come back! .3- NO breakfast (due to covid-19) although the website or booking didn’t say anything as others indicate they have a sack breakfast etc. too late to turn back now he already ran my card 🤦🏻‍♀️4- There were abt 4 flies that wouldn’t and didn’t leave the bathroom - Gross! 5- Pubic hairs were left in shower -wow 6- Bed was itchy so I was sketched if I wanted to get in it, slept on top of blankets - ugh 7- Remote volume didn’t work to turn down only went up.8- Blow dryer didn’t work -go figure but called and they brought me a working one. 9- The older man who checked us in is extremely rude and seems to make up rules as he pleases without posting them online before you can decide if you want to book or not! 10- My advice is to pay an extra $30 and get into a nice hotel.
