    Good hotel missing a few tricks

    The hotel is in the Korean district of LA, the area is ok the hotel had security and felt safe but there aren’t mean areas in LA I would go walking by night any this area is no exception.The hotel had good air con, nice clean room and big a bathroom, queen bed was on the smaller size but adequate, not pillow protectors on the pillows which I think a hotel should have.Free parking in LA is a big bonus and there are lots of car parking spaces but it does get busy at night, but it is free parking.A Nespresso coffee maker in the room and fridge but no iron or ironing board, but we did ask the front desk and they brought one straight to us so top marks from them, ice machines on every floor but no laundry facilities that I could find.The staff were polite and accommodating so no complaint there.

    Booked a two-bed room, got one. Staff saw the confirmation, didn’t care, and told us to pay extra. Instead of fixing their mistake, they chose a few bucks over loyal guests.Terrible service. Not coming back.

    The hotel is located in Korea Town and is not in a pretty area. We never felt unsafe and were able to travel to many tourist sites by public transport, including: Queen Mary Long Beach (long trip on Metro "A" line to Downtown Long Beach & then water taxi across to Queen Mary , cost $1), Griffith Observatory, Rodeo Drive, Beverley Hills, La Brea Tar Pits & Westfield Century City. To get to hotel we took the Flyaway Bus from Lax ($12,50) to Union Metro Station and then caught the #28 bus to Olympic / Catalina stop. Catch bus from the main road Opposite the area where the Flyaway bus drops you off (ask someone where bus stop is). You can also get there from the airport by using the Metro, but you need to make a few changes to different lines. There is a shuttle bus at airport, which takes you to "K" metro (LAX / Metro transit centre), from there take metro to Expo/Crenshaw stop, change to Yellow line "E", get off at Union station & catch bus 28. We did this to the airport and it was very easy (good for people travelling lite). The hotel itslef is quite good, room was spacious & clean, had bar fridge, iron & ironing board & a Nespresso Coffee machine and pods. A complimentary bottle of water is provided each day. The bed & pillow were comfortable, bathroom with shower was good & had good water pressure. Air conditioning was good. Overall a good stay. A $50 security deposit is taken by the hotel & is supposed to be returned on the day of departure, unfortunately its been 4 days since we left & deposit still appears on my debit card (I have emailed the hotel, but no response yet). Front desk staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. Overall a good stay. Try the Japanese restaurant "Wako", quite good with large serves.

    Extremely uncomfortable beds, indifferent and unhelpful staff, I will never stay here again and do not recommend booking here. Pretty sure the night auditor was breaking Consumer Financial Protection Bureau policy by photocopying credit cards and IDs this had been a practice made illegal about a decade ago from my understanding. Mishandling Personal Proprietary Information in this day and age is disgraceful

    Great deal, we are budget travelers and its hard to find a good deal, so I want to say that this is a wonderful friendly, safe and clean room. Great coffee machine, fridge and shower. I will book again. There is free parking in safe parking structure.
